Don't mind what he says, he's just pissed off by everything. Personally, I think racial issue in Indonesia is not such a big thing anymore despite what we see on TV. Our current issue is more religious rather than ethnical, we have to get rid of the extremists regardless what race and what religion.

I'm not a F1 fans, usually watched few laps then get bored, switched to something else. But for Rio, I will learn.

Its boring no doubt. Its incredibly hard to overtake when the drivers are incredibly skilled. To be honest, i feel that F1 is a terrible spectator sport.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure we'll see moments of excellence from him justfying his stay in F1 but frankly, this is a rather bold hope. Given the facts that Manor is a backmarker team, that Rio is in his rookie season which means that he's on a steep learning curve and that the midfield already boasts many talented drivers capable of scoring points, I think Rio and Manor must be very lucky to get points in the first place. Granted, Manor's switch to Mercedes engines and the appointment of two big names in F1, Nicholas Tombazis (who was car designer at Ferrari) and Pat Fry (formerly an engineer for the same team) will be a great bonus for the British racing team but the competitors never sleep, too.

The dullness is partially called forth by the Mercedes dominance since 2014, however moments of excitements happened when someone, mostly Sebastian Vettel last year, was able to seriously challenge the Mercs. The Hungarian Grand Prix was one such example as well as the United States Grand Prix, which was won by Lewis Hamilton, a Mercedes driver and 2014 & 2015 champion.

Major rule changes are coming up for next year, resulting in cars three seconds faster a lap but I'm not expecting much.

I will likely to watch the qualification race as well, since it is also will be live at cable TV (ESPN I guess)

A new qualifying format will be introduced which sounds exciting to new, because it means that everyone has to go flat out as no one can afford not to.

There are issues with adjusting the timing software to the elimination process however, so it won't be until the Spanish GP in mid-May when the format is finally introduced. Moreover, it faces opposition.

you should try phillip island or sepang , you will never be bored

I am not a race sport fan to begin with so I don't think that will help . I don't hate it but not enjoying it very much either which is strange coz I used to be crazy about it when I was very young (up until junior high).. the passion is just.. gone.. dunno why. But for this new season I will try my best to stay tune.

Micheal Schumacher era is much worst. Anyway with so little overtaking and over dominating teams, I rather go watch Rallying. These days i just read, i don't devote time watching F1.
