problem is, it's not completely fair for them to keep being a sour nip as their medias are giving negative views on Indonesia. Actually it did "change" the relationship though not massive at all.

What can they do? It's a hot news in Japan. Media like this kind of news. We have to keep in mind that any negativity around the news is closely tight on rivalry between China and Japan. And to be fair, it's only a few days... this news will not become cold soon, atleast not in a week. Just give them time to be sour, and everything will be back to normal.

Exactly, We can't take for granted Australian bogan view by just visiting Jakarta Post comment section. Just like this Japan-China HSR issue on youtube.

actually it did "change" the relationship though not massive at all. the problem of partnering with nip is that they dislike to be not choosen when you don't choose them. if you are partnering with nips then you are to surrender your infrastructure plans to them. kind of colonialish mentality, except they are a failed colonial.

right now they themselves are colony of usa.....the ironic thing is that their master is gonna choose china as the partner to build LA to las vegas hsr, that is even a bigger hit on them...watch out....but i don't think they have the guts to shit on their master, it is very interesting to observe their different attitude of this time toward indonesia and next time toward their master

That's just individual response. Indonesia-Japan relation is already mature. We still need japan support to invest on MRT, and other projects.

To be honest , the YouTube videos that were being posted here were minority views , no one subscribes to such thinking , only outliers. Majority of Japanese have high confidence in Indonesia. Why that is the very reason Indonesia is a primary hub of Japanese manufacturing. And this paradigm will only grow.

Lets differentiate sensationalism from reality.

we don't upset anybody, they are upsetting themselves. we are not to be dictated by them and they have no rights in deciding what's better for us, especially Japan. Japan should behave themselves if they wan't to continue doing their business in Indonesia. too bad though the majority of Indonesian view on Japanese is misleaded..
