And India still ahs a higher gdp per capita nominal and PPP, which means the average Indian has more wealth than the average Pakistani.

We have plenty of reasons to be happy. Ranking 20 spots ahead of you on MPI and HDI and 17 spots ahead on IHDI which are the most accurate measures of development, and surpassing you in GDP per capita nominal and PPP, which are the most accurate measures of wealth, are just the small ones. I am curious, what do you have to be happy about? I can't think of much.

Let's be fair to them. comparing themselves to India is the only thing that validates their existence. They should be honored to compare themselves with a country as great as India.

This is a very old figure. It has gone bellow 10% long ago. India is now dealing with post poverty problems such as medicine for all, housing for all, Gas for all, Electricity fr all etc. Sanitation problem almost solved and now coverage has reached above 91% + few months ago.
