. .
I look at this population as an asset for the country. Actually the biggest asset we got. 1.21 billion people with 10 million graduating every year. This is the best it can get. Now we are still a tiny economy compared to our size and still have a long way to go.

lol jokes aside yes this population will give us a massive Indian diaspora all over the world. We already have a big one. Check out all major fortune 500 companies and you will find Indians on top. Check out the deans of Harvard business school or any other school Indians flood top posts. Moreover all major news channels in the west have Indian anchors and writers. One day many of these could help India to achieve their interests.

In comparison, Pakistan's total population as of today is 183 million people.

What's the highest it's expected to reach before any decline occurs?

1.7 billion by 2070. We aint stopping any time soon bro. ;) That will be bigger than entire Europe, Americas, Japan, south Korea, Taiwan, and most of south america combined.
India has to wait till 2070 to stabilise its population. - Free Online Library

The worlds biggest population supported by a growing economy of 6-7% by far will make the world's strongest nation by far. The most dominant nation and region the plant earth has ever seen. It will be either India or China. There is no 3rd competitor.

There is no decline, since India is "free" country , there is no restriction, everybody is happy in a big family.

Nop decline is part of maturity of an economy and a country. Even japan is free country but their population is declining. As economy matures people tend to have lesser children because they get all the benefits from the states. So they don't feel like having children anymore. As Indian inches closer to developed nations we will see the same effect.

Dont compare with Japan- the economy does not effect the villages and the poor so much and so they remain poor, uneducated, the poor laborer thinks more hands better for him, so he makes more children, likewise farmer etc etc..it is the family planning policy, its benefits and subsidy for those having less kids need to be focussed as well including education for the poor

I highly doubt it.

Mother Nature has a way of correcting rabid population growths.

Either by famine, or disease, India's population will be checked.
