If go by race and ethnicity. India would be divided into many states because of differences in the states. But as India was formed by the British Raj, I can see the reason why it want to restore itself to the glories of the British Raj. However, do not expect India's neighbors to just lay down and roll over as India pursues 2nd hand imperialistic policy.

and also when u rn't even aware of how india was ruled and what governed it why throw statements.... Delhi was always considerded to be capital of India no matter what and who ever ruled Delhi was called or presumed to be the head of state.. and there were some dynasties which ruled a major part of India at different times of history... THats the reason why I say, Boundaries change and nothing is concrete as u people try to justify...

I can only partly understands what you're trying to emphasize ...
but its plain simple if India able to offering more than what China is then there is a chance they might go along with India but in this case, obviously India did not offer to the point where allows Myanmar to change its ally.

by the way, no matter what structure/system of a country is using... its still a independent country.

Also , just from the way you express your view, it already shows your lack of respect towards Myanmar gov and its people.
And discriminating against another nations people does not make yourself superior than others.

it is very interesting, but we should know Burma is a independent country.
How could india use it as a trump card? we chinese regard india as a independent. We regard the Burma as a independent country. We hope the india should also regard the other country as a independent country.

Nepal was not in British India......Britisher was never able to conquer Nenal
