Missile defence systems are highly unproven. Missiles are designed to evade them anyway. It's a big waste of money.

I 'm afraid it won't work as Pak is not a small country. It's much cheaper to increase the missiles to break such defense system.

We were threatened by 2 superpowers before, but never gave up our reforming and opening-up policy.

This represents zenith of stupidity, Pakistan will keep on spending 2.5% of GDP, with rapid improvement in economy , defence spending will increase simultaneously. Pakistan already poseses MIRV capable missiles and will produce some more. It is pursuing Chinese options like HQ-9 which can counter missile threats aswell. With MIRV's (multiple warheads on one missile) coupled with the adjacent distance between Pakistan and India, India would be wasting resources of Ballistic Missile Defence.
India doesn't possess the ability to bankrupt Pakistan, Pakistan isn't a small country or a small economy, its world's 6th largest country by population. Such statements are only good for gullible Indian public, which is good for us, the more deluded, emotional and right wing Indians become as a society, the better we can manipulate them.

That article is from 2006. More than 10 years ago. In 2006, Pakistan did not have CPEC and other similar projects. Terrorism was at it's peak and we did not have a thermonuclear weapons capability either:

Also, China is set to become the world's first ever and only GLOBAL HYPER POWER within the next few years. Your above post is another indian bollywood fantasy that does not reflect the ground realities in Pakistan. I came back from Pakistan a few months ago so I am very familiar and aware of it. For the first time in our history, there are huge world class industrial & infrastructure projects going on ALL over Pakistan that were deemed impossible just 2 years ago. Even the poor in Pakistan are now enjoying a living standard that they have never experienced before. Pakistan is transforming and becoming more advanced and powerful each day.

No indian can possibility criticise any nations. Especially in light of the fact that india had 30-40% of the ENTIRE Earth's most severely malnourished and extreme poor living there. As a part of the india race and nation. That is the undeniable proof that india is in FACT a failed state:
