No offense brother - Indians are quite hypocritical when it comes to beef consumption.

Anytime I go to a concert here in town, Indian Hindu men are the first in line to get dibs on the delicious beef kababs and kubideh. Then they go home and do 'Om Nomosh-shivam'.

To be fair - the women however are strict vegetarian and don't eat beef.

We live in a hypocritical world.

Those screaming for peace have the largest defence industry.
Those clamouring for climate change are the greatest spoilers of the environment.
Those whose religion does not permit liquor consumption consume huge amounts of liquor - check Pakistan. See the % of minorities and relate it to manufacture & sale of liquor , not to mention foreign liquor.
Those clamouring for human rights were the worst offenders of such rights.

Sir, why r you mixing democracy with law and order?? You very well know in south asia corruption is ranpant... how many non hindu has been killed in last 1yr?? The states where these incidents are common are worst in terms of law and order... if you open newspaper, hundreds more grusome and shocking incidents take place in those states.. while rest of india is peaceful... so why generalise?? The killing of liberals in bangladesh and many more violence in bangladesh happend but does that mean whole muslims or bangladesh to be blamed.. i have my relatives in BD.. i know things there.. so lets not generalise...
Regarding beef issue... you are free to eat anything in india..(except a few states) .. Go to TN, Karnataka, west bengal etc etc etc... you will enjoy...

I heard it was a development in the recent 500~700 years. And the measure was introduced so cow slaughter was stopped as it was a useful entity. Back in the day Brahmin and all Hindus for that matter used to eat beef, no issues....

At any time people come out in Huge number and demonstrate for islamic Bangladesh. Their soldiers kill there officers. he can not foresee a danger of his country becoming an another syria. Hindus are Polytheist , Monotheist , Pantheist , Atheist , Agnostics , Henotheistic , Monistic etc .
Some are Idol worshipers , some are as monotheistic as Muslims .
