What's new

India's GDP suffers a massive fall, Agriculture growth down by half

We find it to be demeaning to be compared with pakistan.

We find it funny that Hindus think they will ever be equal to Muslims.

And whilst you may hate to be compared to us, you're not fairing much better overall:

In the first 100 days of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's second term, a slew of 'big-bang' economic reforms that should please foreign investors are likely to be pursued, according to a top official at the government's main think tank.

The reforms will include changes in labour laws, privatisation moves, and creation of land banks for new industrial development, said Rajiv Kumar, vice chairman of NITI Aayog (National Institute for Transforming India), who reports directly to Modi.

Those who are unable to reform in previous tenure will not be able to make any reforms in this tenure .It is foolishness of indians to expect good from failed govt and p.m

yeah you are right. Even in our worst year in the decade our growth rate is 3 times Pakistans. Our currency is worth twice yours. Our reserves are at ~480 Billion dollars as opposed to 8 in Pakistans case. We have become the fifth largest economy in the world and still climbing measured in multiple's of trillion dollars,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, whats the use I can go on page after page after page . steel production, number of unicorns, growing global reach of Indian companies etc etc etc etc etc etc

Pakistan's economy is smaller than one of our states economy. Pakistan's foreign reserves are smaller than many of India's company worth

Eventually one or two companies in India will be worth more than the GDP of Pakistan though that will take a couple of decades to acheive

.
For most of post-1947 history, ours has been much better than yours.

And sum of that is Pakistan of today.

Cheer leaders are happy because indIn economic show some corrections in a quarterly results because of elections. While cheering, they forget that the country they live in has 3 times inflammation than their GDP growth rate.

What do you expect from people who think they are superior just because they follow a different religion.

No they don't think but out of inferiority complex, they try to pretend that they are superior.

Your national position in the world is that of a country on a verge of collapse, worry about that.

We find it to be demeaning to be compared with pakistan.

That sucks for your nation . Gdp per capita are broadly similar. Lets remember india has more super rich then Pakistan, hence making india second most unequal society on earth. Certain northern states like Bihar and UP are massively underdeveloped compared to other indian states.

Anyway considering bjp is widely considered to fudge data, 45 year unemployment high data was suppressed until after election.
