India's Engineering Marvels - A Short Story of a Long Pipeline

Stay away from doctors came out from Private Medical colleges, or those who got in through quotas. Other's are doing pretty fine.

Private medical colleges sells the medical degree for the right amount of money ....but even the doctors out of govt. colleges do not do well in life. (as compared to the avg. engineer)

My friend who graduated from KIIT makes close $350 /hour USD .

Some how I doubt that.
We have patients coming from usa,uk,europe ,middle east and other parts of world to get treated in India. If they had doubts about our prowess they wouldn't have come.

No they are not. You are misinformed. I have the misfortune to be married to a doctor :P and I can say with complete assurance that even my wife regrets doing medicine instead of engineering (ya, she loves money). She is pretty clear that our kid should never step into medicine.
depends on what line of work doctors are into, not all doctors earn well, the government salaries are too less.No one should step into medicine thinking they will earn money. You join to treat people,if successful you can more .

The Europeans have free healthcare in their countries, rich Arabs go to US or Europe for treatment. Typical Indian dyck stroking, self-delusion. Even Indians go overseas for better medical treatment in Singapore, HongKong or even Malaysia.

LOL. As a matter of fact its only the doctors who are in govt. service who make decent money. (Not legally)

Contrary to what your believe, doctors do not become doctors out of the goodness in their heart and a desire to server the poor :disagree:

Last point is that in pvt. hospitals, each doctors have a "quota" to be filled. The amount of revenue they need to generate if they want to stay on in their jobs  .........this 'quota' of money to be made for the hospital extends to all kinds of 'experts'...from Neurosurgeons to radiologists.

The next time you go to a doctor, remember that.

Most Doctors (I.e medical ) make peanuts for a living. They complain of the amount of work they have to do and the stress they go through everyday to make ends meat.

But one thing is for sure, there more unemployed engineers than there are doctors.

If you're a doctor you'll have little difficulty find a job.

If you're an Engineer, and if your not cut out for it, you'll soon find yourself doing something else.

But one thing is for sure Engineers make WAY more money than doctors.

I do understand there is a lot of corruption among Engineers and the industry in general, despite of the 'under hand black money' in general still they make more money than doctors.

Among doctors engineers and lawyers the money order goes something like this .

Engineers >Lawyers> Doctors.

I personally can tell you this Structural Engineer charged my firm $8500USD for a 8 page document, probably took him less than a day to compile.

He come to court to provide witness testimony. His going rate was $14,000 + 550/hour USD of testimony. and $300 /hour for every hour he needs outside of court to compile evidence.

lol i am one, i agree to what you say the legal pay in government is less, but the job is good not as hectic as pvt hospitals.i am aware of the quota they need to fill, it just that i am saying some are more successful than others therefore they make more money.

It not only about cost, but also the quality of treatment,if they really wanted low cost they could go to africa. or other countries. We got quality treatment at 1/4th cost of what they pay in west.

Many arabs come to India for treatment if you are not aware. Europeans have free healthcare but they have long waiting lists, people can't wait that long so they choose to come to india NHS of uk has long patients lists, That is why some european patients come to india to get treated. Not every indian goes to singapore, i dont know where you get that delusion for one i dont know any indian going to hongkong to get treated, USA Yes.That is the reality not some dcik measurement constest.I know this because i am in that field.

Exactly this is not a dick measuring contest, why are you even trying? India does not have an advanced medical by international standard, neither is India an international hub for medical tourism.

Dude, India has a good advanced Medical standard which is on par with international standards, some of our private sector hospitals will give a run for money for the best hospitals around the world. It is just that you don't know about our private sector, nor do you know medicine well enough to comment on it.
