1. A country with higher foreign is bound to have higher surplus or CAD.....and higher CAD can also be a good thing.....obviously u don't know that.....
Of course it can be a good thing, but with the rising inflation & depreciating Indian rupee, it should increase your exports & make imports more expensive. Hence, bridging the CAD. It's not doing that for Indian though. India's economy (specifically the service sector) is heavily dependent on FDI inflows, & with the decreasing rate of inflows in the country, it is hitting the service sector hard; consequently hitting the Indian economy hard. India's economy is structured in such a way, that India's service sector comprises of 54.7% of the GDP, whereas its industry is only 26.3% of the GDP. In case of China, it makes sense for them to depreciate their currency, as they have a much bigger manufacturing base than India (China's industry contributes 46.9% of its GDP), so they can export their goods more. That isn't the case with India though.
2. Public debt to GDP ratio is almost equal...
But Pakistan's is slightly better.
3. By worst performing currency if u mean that most depreciated currency, then u need to understand it is essentially a short term phenomenon,
Yes, the Indian rupee was the worst performing Asian currency in 2011.
4. About Jobs, I am not sure where did u get that but even its true, it doesn't matter a lot,
Pakistan has consistently created more jobs than India over the years, & I've given you the World Bank report to support my argument.
