By rule 70% of the meat is given to poor people or poor relatives who don't have access to high class protien. Only 30% are kept for household consumption. Even the skin is donated to the poor.

We are civilized enough, We do not protect food in the name of religion when people are starving. Go figure

Who wants to tell you to eat an animal? You share his milk. by cutting the head of any animal is the way of celebration than that society is uncivilized. It has no end of uncivilization. Today, ISIS cut the head of human baing giving the reference of Quaran. As per one survey in saudi, 92% muslims says that what ISIS does is true Islam. If you do not find anything wrong in cutting animal head by chanting allah u akbar, days are not far that people in your country shall cut the head of each other like slaughter of animal. Infact, it has started now.

This is only one of the many form of charities Islam mandates. We do Zakat, Fitra, Osul, Kurbani which are mandatory in addition to many optional charities.

We had been doing it for the last 1400 years and will be done till the end of the days. There is no correlation between ISIS cutting head and making a Kurbani. Kurbani itself was originated by sacrificing an animal in place of sacrificing a human or beloved ones.

Eating animal is the natural order of things. It is made halal for us as we are carnivorous. If we have to stop killing animal then we have to get rid of animal which rely on meat for instance lions, tigers,wolf, fox, eagle, shark etc. What will they do if we put a ban on killing and eating meat?

Then again what about the fish, chicken, goat? You hindus are even endangering exotic species like turtles, frogs, eel, snails etc which we dont eat and made haram for us. Muslim only sacrifice animals which can be domesticated and raise in huge numbers and have economic values.

Nobody is forcing you to eat meat if you have any problem with it. We love meat and we love to sacrifice animal in the name of God and give them away to the poor who cant afford them.

What the Sanghi Indians like Surya fail to realize, We call it Qurbani and not Party.

We are suppose to feel for the animal. Many of the families in village prefer to sacrifice their pet cows because of the attachments and the sense of compassion arises for Qurbani.

After Processing the meat it is immediately divided into 3 parts. One is given to the needy, another one goes to the neighbors and relatives prefering the needy ones.

Nothing is wasted. Thousands of Bengalis work on Leather Industries which Runs on the skins of sacrificed animals.

Don't you use shoe Surya? Belt, Bags and Jacket?? How do you get skin without killing an animal??
