What's new

India's agriculture exports cross $50 bn in FY22, the highest ever, says Commerce Ministry

Good news for India and its population.

50 bn is not a big figure for export but if it comes from agriculture sector,it generates huge employment and uplift many lives.
Being boastful is bad especially when a large portion of your population is starving. Now India suddenly had to stop the exports because there might be food shortages soon in India. I am. Not trying to insult you but I think India is governed by boastful idiots. China has almost the same pop as India and produces even more wheat, our government is stockpiling wheat instead of selling it.

A country, whose dictator has advised his citizens (Slaves) to store food is worried about the food security of other country. One way he is right. He and his fellow citizens can feed themselves with plastic rice fried in gutter oil and consume with bat soup and dog meat to survive. This is not possible for the country like. I think his advice should be taken seriously.

Autocratic to be exact, China is not a dictatorship, decision in China is made by a Council of people not just Xi. Anyway, a smart leader plans ahead and see crisis coming and does the best for his country. India leaders boast and talks and sells food when the people are starving. You might really vr eating plastic if this goes on dude. Lolol

This means that the China and Chinese see crisis coming. Inspite of claim of biggest producer of wheat and not exporting it, China sees crisis coming. This exposes the clzim of Chinese of biggest wheat producer.

As against BJP-run Uttar Pradesh where a village school's students had to eat one chapati and some salt as the whole part of their school-provided mid-day meal which as a concept was started before BJP because in India so many school students are unable to access nutritious food at home especially egg and the mid-day meal was also provided to encourage the parents to send their children to school instead of taking the buffaloes out to the fields and other such things ? :) And this hunger in humans while the 60+ million street dogs in India never go hungry.

And speaking of dictators let us speak of Dear Leader Modi whose photo is on the COVID vaccination certificate but not on the death certificate of those who even the otherwise lying government agreed that the citizen had died of COVID. Here, have a good laugh. Good STREANH :

Because of robust irrigation facility, Indian farmer is no more muvh dependent on rain like he used to be few years ago.

Here comes 12th commie idiot.

What "robust irrigation" facility?

Kanjoos govts. in BIMARU states never even dredge their canals, and rivers are silted up too. Situation is so bad that Bihar and UP have started to flood nowadays, prompting BIHAR ministers to suggest demolishing Farakka.

The irony of the post to salivate on starvation of Indians is bizarre but understandable

What was horrifying was Mao not wanting loose face in front Soviets for failed great leap decided to increase exports Soviet Union

Net grain exports, principally to the U.S.S.R., rose from 2.7 million tons in 1958 to 4.2 million in 1959, and in 1960 fell only to the 1958 level.

During a secret meeting in Shanghai in 1959, Mao demanded the state procurement of one-third of all grain to feed the cities and satisfy foreign clients, and noted that "If you don't go above a third, people won't rebel." In the context of discussing industrial enterprises

Any surviving 2.5 million Chinese unlucky enough to protest the above were tortured and killed

Still India’s productivity per acre is very low compared to developed nations. Have to adapt scientific rationale in agriculture, India should be well prepared to fight global warming and population explosion in the coming decades.

If you can't see a crisis coming then your leaders must be pretty dumb. Alot of major food producers are controlling exports due to fertiliser supply, yet dumb Indians were exporting it. Now we see these braggarts retracting and facing a crisis. Lololol

Your third class fertilizer was rejected by Srilanka. India is not China. We have rnough stock of foodgrain. Afterall, we can not survive on snakes, dogs, cats, Cockroaches and bat soup.

In my opinion, China and India have a population of 2.8 billion, and taking good care of their own people is the greatest contribution to the world.
China still has the memory of famine six or seventy years ago, so it has been storing food. China ’s wheat output each year is 27 million tons higher than India and 26 million tons of rice production higher than India. But over the years, China has basically not exported grain,China imports a small amount of grain every year and imports a lot of feed soybean. China's reserve warehouses can store a total of 900 million tons of grain.
Central reserve officials said earlier this year that China has enough grain in reserve to feed the Chinese people for a year and a half.

Fertilizrr? Since when do we even export potash mate. Btw, don't you feel embarrassed doing a u turn after bragging to the world about how India can provide supplies and then suddenly banning exports. Lolol

Now now now, don't egt agitated, we know how some of you ate roadkill during covid. Lolol

Indians store their grain in open pits exposed to the elements, most of them become rotten even before reaching the poor. Billions are wasted annually buying then storing it poorly. I remember reading their news about learning from China on temp controlled silos. I mean it's just common sense right. China spends alot on grain imports for animal feed, mostly corn and soybean because meat consumption is high, most Indians barely can afford meat.

This is the difference between bragging governments and competent governments. China does the work while India talks. We plan decades ahead, these nmmbs numbs can't even forecast a few months ahead.

Well we do acknowledged famines happens but the magnitude is mostly exaggerated, anyway what does something happening 60 /70years ago got go do with Indias stupidity? We experienced famine first hand and now has one of the world's best food storage systems. You mean you need Indians to starve first to learn, ooo wait you are alrwdy starving now. The hunger capital of the world is in India. Lol

If you stop consuming bat soup world will be free ftom Covid. Eating plastic rice coocked in gutter oil damages mental health as well.
Ooo want me to start on cow dung consumption, corpses and roadkill? Lol.
