I'm not surprised. I know many muslims from india here in the u.s. on h1b visas and ever since modi got elected, they have personally shown keen interest to me to have their families in india migrate to Pakistan and surrender Indian citizenships in exchange for Pakistani citizenship.

Looking at the poor living standards of Muslims in India, it is the best choice to emigrate to Pakistan...other issues.

-To stop the chance of getting lynched by the Hindu mobs on Beef eating rumors, check how many Muslims were killed on fake Beef eating rumors, only country in the world where one can get killed on your food choices.

- Muslims mostly lives in Ghettos in India...they don't have jobs, as there is no quotas for them and due to bias and discrimination of Hindus they don't get private sector jobs as well, some exceptions here.

-It is a vicious circle, an unending rigmarole for Muslims...can't get jobs, as they cannot get higher education, as they cannot make ends meet, and since they can't be educated(poverty, discrimination), they cannot gets jobs, not just in public sector but private too.

-Can't live in better housing...again they are discriminated in Hindu dominant areas(check Mumbai property lease ads), and what Shabana Azmi has said.


-The reason Muslims in India has to stick to living in India is they consider the ancient thousand year history of India Muslims heritage, culture, language, food, music as their own, and they starts owning the land and the area...they will leave at the first instance if given a choice. If Pakistan opens the border there will be deluge of Muslims migrating to Pakistan from India just as happened during and after partition(initial years when the border was open).

ISLAMABAD: Despite the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India, it was revealed on Saturday that the lion’s share of foreigners seeking Pakistani citizenship came from the eastern neighbour during the last 10 years.

Out of the 635 foreigners to become citizens of the country, 461 came from India.

While Afghanistan and Srilanka came in second and third.

Interestingly, only four Chinese nationals opted to take up Pakistani citizenship.

Return of envoys signals thaw in ties with India

Tensions between Pakistan and Indian escalated rapidly following a suicide car bombing that killed at least 40 Indian paramilitary police in Indian-occupied Kashmir on February 14.


India accused Pakistan of harbouring the Jaish-e-Mohammad group behind the attack and Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised a strong response. Islamabad denied it helps the militant Islamist group and asked India to share proof.

Indian warplanes bombed Jabba Top, a hilly forest area near the northern town of Balakot, about 40km from occupied Kashmir.

On February 27, two Indian Air Force fighter jets were downed and a pilot captured by the Pakistani security forces.

Thank god the number is a joke (461). But even afghani currencies don't bother to seek citizenship, so if they actually apply that means they need it for something.

All the points you mentioned boils down to priorities of Muslims.
If you look at Muslims around the world they live in ghettos that's because they have always looked inwards and not outwards.if you look at Muslims couple in previous generations haveing 5-10 babies when they cant provide properly for 2 or even one.what do you expect in such situations that the govt take over the responsibility of kids.when there is no proper basic education you won't get job,I am sure you too won't employ someone who dsnt have basic education.
Thankfully things are changing now you don't see the current indian Muslims having more more than 2 babies ,you can see young Muslim couple enrolling their kids in decent school and you can see Muslim kids in schools and in various compatetions.
That's how you change your next generation by providing better education.you will see these kids with better jobs and better standard of living.
When you travel to Europe or US you will see Muslims couple won't have a decent job but will have children because these countries provide child benefits and they use those fund not for child but to run the family.
There are many Muslims from India who have done good and made India proud.
For all the Indians you know who is our biggest hero it's a Muslim,Sir DR Abdul Kalam.he has inspired lot of Indians .

You know how big India is ,to get an idea our minority population is bigger than your entire population.yes there are some incidents which happened that's sad but these incidents do happen in other countries too for example a minority old guy was trashed by police for having food during ranadan fasting in your country,can I paint the picture of every Pakistani with the same brush.
Govt provides quota for Muslims in education,job.its the responsibility of the Muslims to be educate them self's and take up those jobs,no govt will fill the quota if they are not eligible for the post,they them self have to make themselves eligible for those jobs.
Yes these might be ads were Muslims cannot buy a property and you will see ads were only Muslims can buy property.

If you see the overall picture Muslims in India have better oppertunities than a Muslim in Pakistan .

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Despite ongoing tensions between the nuclear-arch rivals, around 461 Indian nationals sought Pakistani citizenship during the last 10 years.

As per the details, out of the 635 foreigners to become Pakistani citizens, 461 came from India. Afghanistan and Sri Lanka came in second and third spots.

As many as 43 Afghanis, 22 Sri Lankan’s, 15 Britain, 14 Bangladeshis, 12 Philipinos, 10 American, 6 from Switzerland and four each from Canada, China, Iraq and Kuwait have been granted Pakistani nationality during the last 10 years.

From 2012 till April 14, 2017, a total number of 298 Indian emigrants have been granted Pakistani citizenship.
