Indians taking over...

With a wife and two daughters at home, I am a seasoned veteran at letting the lady have the last word.

Cheers, Doc

Well my two pennies worth..

I have grown up in a era / environment/ profession where hating Pakistanis was expected & done with gusto. The only place one wanted to see a Pakistani was through the sights of a gun..and thats where one actually did get to see them.

With time came change of profession, exposure which led to meetings with people from Pk. Initially one was guarded , suspicious & wary. After working alongside one started seeing more similarities than differences. I even found we could laugh together, face trails & trepidations together and work as a team. This we did successfully too.

Differences remained on issues like 71 war.. surprisingly J&K was not mentioned much. A sense of hurt & disillusionment on the loss of EP was palpable among those of my age, the youngsters couldn't care less.

Now, one cannot but feel that was it worth it ? Did the animosities help to change anything ?
