Indian's tactical weapon formations in coming years after Prahaar? What will be India's best response to advancing enemy armour?


Here are the systems:

Pinaka-I 40 km
Smerch 90 km
Prahaar 150 km
Brahmos Block III+ 300 km
CBU-150 sensor fuzed weapon
LCH with Helina
Apache Longbow with Hellfire


These will come with Shakti integrated artillery command and control system and weapons locating radars, tactical UAVs and realtime satellite data.

As Pinaka II and some other weapons like NLOS version of Nag are not there we will not discuss about them.

Yes but let us ignore field systems like tanks, anti-tanks missiles and short range unguided rockets like Grad.


I hope the formation will be:

Pinaka at the foremost level directly supporting Indian advancements of Arjun , T-90 , artillery with other APC and communication EW systems. Behind that Smerch with cluster munitions. One Prahaar regiment should cover multiple areas with high precision strike on enemy formations quickly when called by the field commander. Along with Prahaar it will be Brahmos Block III+ longer range precision string. Prahaar ballistic and Brahmos cruises through enemy defences at field level. If needed call IAF to come with stand off missiles specially CBU smart munition to hit deeper inside enemy.

Useless. Tanks, ATGMs, artillery.... I am not talking about them. India has far better than everything you mentioned. Those I am talking , Pakistan has nothing comparable or anything close. So stop trolling.

Pinaka II Is wroth discussing if you mention apache longbow........however personally I think Mi 28 is a lot better platform.

U can show whichever documents u want... but be sure tht ur buying stuff bcoz ur equipment is obsolete... Also i hope u know tht in army equipment we beat india......... heck indian army doesnt even have new arty systems or even a real self propelled howitzers!
