India will be begging to join the US camp if sh*t hits the fan. By then, this kind of relationship would not be in Indian terms. India might be forced to give up more than it wants if it seeks US help, a la 1962.

We are not Taiwan to beg in front of US .That job is performed better by the country you claim to come from .

We are more than capable to handle any situations in the border .

1962 prove that you are not capable. And the gap between India and China had widen since then and it will be wider. Nowadays, when China send 30 troops into India, the entire Indian military has no response. That its because India need more help than the existing capabilities it has to handle China.

The only solution is by allow US to base troops along its border, like South Korea. But before we get there, India should lease some ports or airfields such Port Blair to the USN.
