You think they are going there to return to India? The backlog for Green card applications for Indians is the lengthiest among all nationalities in the US.

90% of them will have to return to India. H1B is not like they can go there and disappear in the crowd and look for other jobs.

That is the concept of brain drain!!! why create a resource when it is cheaply available somewhere else and import it (skilled human resource)!!!! thank to for reiterating that!!

Don't mind that, it creates a lot of business opportunities in India. The H1B's are already employed in Indian companies, they are getting there for special needs and training. A lot of US companies have their back offices in India. Besides, this earns us billions of dollars in revenue.

H1 B visa are issued to skilled professionals so naturally Indians gets 74 pc. Whoelse has such skills to get 74 pc share of H1 B. China is an another country having population more than India so china should be a natural competitor for H1 B but looking at poor education level of China, natuallna it is distanced second with 9 pc. Skill level of Top Chines Universities is comparable to Third grade Indian Universities.
