Dont worry about south indians, They are will keep it clean. It is too much to ask from UPites and Biharians. Never again in my life i would book a ticket of a train that passes from UP or Bihar

haha... biharis are the nastiest bunch... even the rich/middle class biharis are filthy
south Indians are generally clean but they have elaborate lunch/dinner inside train which they bring from home..

Don't they have another supplier for fans....those one's look fugly.

It's mind boogling how the so called "pada likha" people shit all over the public transport.We have tenants at one of our places and their 4 year old goes around peeing all over the neighbourhood.

They can use forced ventilation...they don't really need fan.Using a fan for cooling in a closed carriage isn't modern!

If the rat continues to do it in your house, give him one across his face. And if his parents come to fight, tell them that if they cannot teach their kid, then the world will have to teach him.

As for the fans, they could use a white paint scheme and flatter more open grills so that they are easy to clean. The current design makes it a pain to clean it and thus no one does it, resulting in years of muck stuck to the grills.
