I agree that Nagaland and other NE Indian states are often neglected by the Indian Government. Hence the recent protests throughout the region. But that is not related to the topic of the thread.

Their country as a whole has an HDI on par with Bihar, our poorest state. Most of India is Switzerland compared to Pakistan. That's not saying much though.

He is not a Naga soldier... He is an INDIAN soldier.

The Indian Army does not identify any state, caste, religion or background. Only service. Complete and total.

Northeast has tremendous potential of becoming a booming tourist destination. Especially since they aren't involved with the BS hindu or Muslim stuff. India needs to capitalize on this and make such investment which will help in bringing lot of forex as well as developing the region. Ofcourse we need a forward thinking young government for that..none of the parties currently in India can make India better.
