Indian scientists spot a galaxy 260 light-years away that isn't giving birth to any new stars

Gangus are so happy; as if they have not discovered a galaxy, but made one.

Maybe a Galaxy with plenty of Toilets so that they can migrate there in the next 1-million years, when the common rat would be advance enough to invent UFOs.

I call BS, 260 light years?? The closest spiral galaxy to us is andromeda at 2 million light years and the closest non spiral galaxy is the canis major dwarf galaxy at 42000 light years away. 260 light years away with ring wide as 380,000 LYs means the ring should be touching our galaxy.

I have said it earlier. It might be a mistake from the reporter and might have written it wrong. The reporter is to blame.

Galaxies including our very own Milky Way, are distant star clusters. A small subset of such clusters that emits exceptionally powerful emission at radio frequencies, are radio galaxies.

This is a radio galaxy.

No point in teaching science to Pakistanis, all they know how to do is troll, as evidenced by this thread.

It was actually 260 million light years, looks like there was a mistake in the reporting.
