Sheikh Abdullah, a close friend of Nehru opted to become a part of the Indian Union. He had put his trust in the false promise of secularism and equality. The reason why he got along so well with Nehru was that both of them believed in secular values and that the Sheikh preferred a secular India over an Islamic Pakistan. Those who chose to not only remain servile and put their trust in false promises of secularism and democracy and equality while also blaming and attacking those who actually made the right choice, today have no one but themselves to blame.
Indian Muslims are 15% of the total population of India.Honestly, this article sounds more like a anger-venting piece against Jinnah and Pakistanis for escaping the misery and oppression that would have been their fate too had they too remained silent, passive and weak.
Blaming Jinnah for what Hindus are doing to Indian Muslims is simply scapegoating and Pakistan-bashing, not sure if it's to display a image of patriotism to Hindus or what, but honestly it came off as pathetic and desperate.
What Jinnah did was the sensible and correct thing, and not to mention the Islamically correct thing; you really cant have two groups of people with often clashing beliefs and thus clashing interests coexisting in the same living space, especially when one of these groups is a minority and thus at a disadvantage vis a vis a vengeful (no love lost for centuries of Muslim rule) majority and at its mercy.
And partition also proves another thing, that despite people of the subcontinent being wrongly classified as the same we really are different. Why Muslims of North Subcontinent (now Pakistan) wanted partition while Indian Muslims chose to remain passive? This is why it is wrong to believe that same religion necessarily means same people and that racial, cultural and ethnic differences are therefore nullified and void.
Sure, one can call the British categorizing of some groups as "Martial Race" a tactic of favoritism and divide and conquer but I think there is a grain of truth to it as it so happens that the region's of the subcontinent where the most "warlike" and independent peoples inhabited ended up choosing independence rather than passivity.
1947 was the window of opportunity for everyone to choose their path of destiny. Those who chose to not only remain servile and put their trust in false promises of secularism and democracy and equality while also blaming and attacking those who actually made the right choice, today have no one but themselves to blame.
Also, just a point I think should be addressed; the author brought up certain things Jinnah might or might not have done in his personal life, even if they are true, and no human is perfect and yes that includes Muslims, it doesn't somehow lessen Jinnah for the good he did for the Muslims of this region who made the right choice and I believe the fruit of his efforts which saved millions of Muslims far outweighs any of his personal shortcomings which are between him and his Creator now.

For people like them, Gandhi and Nehru are more devout Muslims than Jinnah.the author brought up certain things Jinnah might or might not have done in his personal life, even if they are true, and no human is perfect and yes that includes Muslims, it doesn't somehow lessen Jinnah for the good he did for the Muslims of this region who made the right choice and I believe the fruit of his efforts which saved millions of Muslims far outweighs any of his personal shortcomings which are between him and his Creator now.
No.I also blame Jinnah.
I believe if we remained United, we would by now have become a Muslim country. With roughly 40 pc of the population we would have easily dictated the terms.
I also blame Jinnah.
True, but only those Mullahs who are believers of this ideology. Those who didnt know the essence of Deen.Their mullah brigade is the same as their secular battalion.

Quaid e Azam and Muslim League gave a political idea and narrative. It was ultimately the people, who were to make a decision, which they gave in 1945-46 central and provincial elections. For Central Assembly, Muslim League won all of 30 Muslim seats. In Provincial/State Assemblies, Muslim League won almost 90% of Muslim seats, throughout the British India. This was the prerogative of the people of that time, which they exercised. These results reflect that the idea of Pakistan had taken a deep root in the Muslim mind, even for those, who knew that they wouldn't be able to live in this country. Stop blaming Quaid e Azam.
How? Aren't they are all the same.
@DESERT FIGHTER Check replies of the majority of Indian 'sarkari' Muslims.

We have happy with Jinnah, you stay in India if you are so happy with them .. but if India Attacks Pakistan, we wont Differentiate between them and those Traitors when we bomb the crap out of them ..
The great Jinnah rightly envisioned;
"Those who reject two-nation theory today, they and their generations will spend their lives proving loyalty to Hindu Majority India"
These scums can't understand what they have done to their most loyal dog "Farooq Abdullah" and Mehboba Mufti...... The more Hindus squeeze, lynch, Muslims the More Sarkari Muslims have to renounce Pakistan loudly like loyal dogs.....
To me an Indian Muslims equals to RSS minion and vice versa. They are both equal enemies Pakistan.
When it comes to it our job js very easy. We would vaporize them all.
At the end of the day it's a mater of Fitret folks are born with!!! Can't help much!!! All praise, thanks and gratitude to HIM for Pak.....How? Aren't they are all the same.
JUI-H and Darul-aloom along with clerics of Rai Bareli have all pledged their allegiance to Delhi. JUI-H leader has condoned the abrogation of article 370. They are supporting the NRC as well.

Indian Muslims: it's Jinnah's fault
they are worse than leeches, they would probably never fit in Pakistani society as well, I have some relatives in Bhopal , i met some and experience their bigotry first hand , but one thing for sure they are dirty and smelly ..I Thank Allah everyday that my Grandparents on both sides make the right decision to move to Pakistan .
They burn on the other side of the fence. They have no freedom and are treated like dogs. Their mosques are burnt down, their dignity is snatched from them, their bodies are hacked to bits and pieces, they are killed on mere suspicion of cow slaughter and the misery goes on. Even the Dalits have more rights than these savages.
You reap what you sow. I hope these bastards never find peace. An Indian Muslim is like a fvcking Afghan leper. Shunned by society and totally rejected. These people are cursed forever. Now they envy our freedom and nation. A big middle finger to the jealous cvnts. May misery be their best friend. Amen.
It is like a Curse from Allah on them, they will suffer in that for a long time .. and as for beating , chant Jai Shri Ram , burnt mosques, women raped , and humiliated it is their fate , that is what you get to betray your fellow Muslims .
does this here look like a shia?
