ISLAMABAD: Premier Nawaz Sharif’s move evoked a strong and angry reaction from the Indian media, which called it “provocation, needling and meddling” in the country’s affairs.

India refuses to attend Saarc conference in Pakistan

The Indian Express said the Pakistan government had needled India on Kashmir by nominating parliamentarians as special envoys to world capitals to highlight the problem.

In a news report, The Times of India said Pakistan has sent the special envoys even as “India continues to ramp up pressure on Islamabad over its incitement of violence and unrest in Kashmir”.

New Delhi rules out bilateral meetings with Pakistani officials on sidelines of Saarc

Under the headline “Pakistan provokes India”, a visibly frustrated The First Post wrote “the move can be seen as provocation from Pakistan’s side, which has been in a constant tussle with the Indian political leadership over the Kashmir issue recently”.

India rules out talks on Pakistan’s terms

India Today said Islamabad’s decision was “yet another attempt to meddle in India’s internal affairs”.

Indian Media and its tantrums. It must realize that this goes both ways. Pakistan was naively mature and sedated with its reaction to Modi's remarks on Balochistan and Azad Kashmir. If you want to play hard ball, this is how you play. Man up and face it.

Prime Minister names Parlimentarians to highlight Kashmir issue at World Level

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has nominated 22 talented parliamentarians belonging to both the houses of parliament as his special envoys to highlight the Kashmir cause and Indian brutalities in important countries of the world.

The decision has been taken to mobilise the world opinion on the plight of the oppressed people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). It is likely that the special envoys will start reaching the capitals assigned to them this week. The action will greatly help in providing due significance to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s next month’s address before the summit of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York where he will raise the Kashmir issue yet another time in its true perspective, reminding the world about its responsibilities to stop the Indian brutalities in the IOK.

Prime Minister Nawaz has made it clear: “I have decided to send these parliamentarians for fighting the Kashmir cause in different parts of the world. These special envoys have strength of the people of Pakistan, prayers from the Kashmiri people across the Line of Control, mandate of parliament and support from the government.”

Good move! If managed properly it will lead to a positive outcome for both Pakistan and Kashmir.

I have no problem Pakistanis nominating 222 instead of 22 parliamentarians sending them around the world in fully paid vacations, its pakistan money, your choice how best you decide to spend it and more importanly how much benefit it occurs to you

But i m curious to know what talent these guys have , that they have been picked.

Not needed, it's Kashmir what matters to Pakistan, which is a disputed territory.
Kashmir Alone is causing so much pain in indian Butts.

It is surely needed after indian meddling in the legal parts of Pakistan. That will shut india. IOK cannot be compared with india. If India drag settled parts then it should be given the same taste.

Looks like Nawaz has learned something from Gen. Raheel; "keep your tongue soft and your firsts hard" . Nawaz is sending invitations to Modi to visit Pakistan ignoring his offensive statements but at the same time, he is doing something which on ground would cause cramps to Indian Governments.

Personally, I find Nawaz has spilt interests and he is only partly aligned with freedom of Kashmir. He is a Kashmir himself and would want to - but his weak political stage wants him to appease international powers and get backing to keep his political seats. Look at his speech in Azad Kashmir where he himself changed slogans for the freedom of Kashmir but on ground, words have no impact and India is continuing killing of Kashmirs.

I really hope his nominated 22 parliamentarians are able to revive Kashmir on the global stage - but until it happens, I would take Nawaz's words are mere words.

Yes ,Pakistan and its parliamentarians and its credibility.BTW Hollywood movies and English TV Series, which is watched all over the world, has been branding you as a terrorist state since you must have been a kid.You are the inspiration of terror movies in both the hemispheres. But the good point is that parliamentarians from your country may get a chance to act in one such movie being made.Good luck to them.
