This is how the great men are. Live a short period comparing to that of their nations but the legacy that they leave behind will bring pride and prosperity for their nation far beyond their life span. May he rest in peace.View attachment 177319
We should remember this great man in this occasion. That man with his own effort headed our space agency (then it was INCOSPAR not ISRO) when we was a toddler in space fairing.
Salute you
Dr.Vikram Sarabhai.
No offence to Iran but why? If you were proposing a collaboration with NASA or the Russians then fair enough but what really could Iran add to ISRO? ISRO is doing just fine on their own and I don't really see the need to go to others for help.
Again, no offence intended, just being realistic here.

@SOHEIL sir,is it possible for India and Iran to collaborate in the field of Space technology in the near future??What i meant to say is that India can now launch heavier satellites using GSLV MK-III,so maybe in the near future we can co-operate in a joint manned space mission. What's your thoughts in this matter!!
I'm just being realistic. India has more than enough talent in India (in terms of scientists) and thus increasingly doesn't even need to go to the established space powers for specialist assistance.
The thing is Iran would benefit a lot more than India would from such collaborations, I am just being pragmatic here I honestly don't mean to offend. I have nothing against Iran or their scientists- they do impressive work with what they have but ISRO is an aspirational organisation and thus if it wants outside help (I'm not sure they need or desire it) they should be getting it from those who are ahead of them, not behind.
If Vikram sarabhai was a Hindu, then he wasn't "buried" but cremated. After cremation, there is no "rest"(like dead body is supposed to in Abrahamic religions).
Secondly, sarabhai was a small chap, overhyped by media just like APJ Kalam. There are others who contributed far more compared to these two figures(who got prominence due to political reasons). Rise of these 2 figures is another Nehru-vajpayee "muslim votebank" type story, which i will explain some other day.
For now, lets say "Shat shat naman to thousands who worked to raise ISRO high", this is how it should be. We don't need two-man cult insulting contribution of neglected others.
Space technology is not like "dating random girls in neighborhood", its far more mature and a matter of civilization discourse. Nations which deserve ISRO help or partnership in future are Thailand/Nepal/Surinam/Cambodia/Vietnam/Japan.
Islamic republic of IRAN, doesn't make any sense to any indian(except shia votebank+foreign funding for Modi/BJP/RSS and 18% globalized muslims of india) as a partner in any reputed national initiative.
Nicely put. USA, Israel, Russia(all 3 Judeo-Christian Civilizations with common mafia called "Vatican") will remain permanent partners with Bharat. Much better than islamic theocracies.
Infact, the comments on this thread shows confused mindset of many indians, who naively think IRAN and India has anything in common today. Maybe there was some 800 years ago, not anymore. The only part common between 2 nations, is a smuggler-mafia(propped up by Britishers who wiped out 1 Crore population in Bengal famine) community of Parsis, which is a burden on this nation and primarly responsible for keeping dollar,Euro hegemony alive and keeping RBI under control of white-men.
Read Ajit Vadakayil's blog to understand why i dislike parsis. They should be kicked out from Bharat as soon as possible. Divide TATA into 12 small companies and sell it out to native families.
What the Fcuk are you talking about!!Iran and India are two sister civilizations and we always had close cultural contact with the Iranians since the time immemorial.Plus Iran is a mature and highly advanced country in the scientific field,so any future collaboration between the two of us will be mutually beneficial to both of us.If Vikram sarabhai was a Hindu, then he wasn't "buried" but cremated. After cremation, there is no "rest"(like dead body is supposed to in Abrahamic religions). He was probably reborn in Gandhi family.

P.S.-Please spare me of your religious bullshit as i am least interested in this matter!!
He is just another religious nutjob i guess or maybe he is a false flagger(from you know which country) who is hell bent to create an atmosphere of animosity between the Indian and the Iranian members of this forumWTF is up with this guy

Most of us Iranian are amazed by your achievements. Keep up the good work India!
Not true actually. ISRO's success is mainly because Space-technologies fall under "Civilian category". Put same ISRO people in DRDO, they will suffer same "delays". ('Delays' is an incorrect word though, because in R&D there is nothing like 'delays'. British-skinned, whiskey-smelly IAF top-brass love inventing such terminologies to intimidate local R&D, to push their white-skinned natasha's)
This story of "X picked APJ Kalam because only he was a messiah who can save ISRO from collapse" is a bolywudian hyperbole, which started with APJ's own book. He released his own pics with Bhabha and "claimed" he was favourite of Bhabha. A nehruvian pushing the chain forward in a true prophetic tradition, which is a harbinger to character of Abrahamic religions.
Do study links of Bhabha with parsi TATA. There is a lot of persho-mughal politics behind media-image of APJ Kalam. As far as TATA is concerned, i don't consider TATA good for india, it was TATA who wrote a letter to Rajiv Gandhi on Henry Kissinger's advice, to consider Union Carbide/Anderson(Bhopal Gas) case in a "kind" manner. Ajit Vadakayil has given enough data on the same.
Dont drag unwanted topic in here.
