It is debatable, cause you don't have the complete background of this incident. So stop taking the high ground just because u do know a thing or two about research.

As far as I know, having trouble reading correctly the first time trumps me not knowing a thing about research.

My trouble in reading has nothing to do with my research...I am always reading 3-4 threads and doing something on fb as well as gmail to give soo much stress on pdf where people just jump in to insult the other nation....

All I know that uni is good, the researchers are of top class....studied abroad (Europe and USA) if that is your criteria...so an idiot crying his samples were taken away sounds HORRIBLY RIDICULOUS!

Esp if you are collaborating...Otherwise I see you dont know even the basics...

While the successful completion of Ph D by a Pakistani female scholar at Kashmir University here has brought her laurels back home and is making headlines here in the last two weeks, a Kashmiri student who had gone to pursue higher education to Pakistan under SAARC exchange program has faced ‘torture, threats and humiliation’ at the hands of his guide there.

Ishrat Naveed, a scholar from Soibugh in central Kashmir’s Budgam district had left the Valley a few years back to pursue his cherished dream of completing Ph D in Bio-Technology.

He chose prestigious Qaud-i-Azam University in Islamabad and he managed to get admission under the SAARC exchange agreement.

However, little did he know that his experience to pursue higher studies in Pakistan would be tormenting.....

Please read what I wrote dont subquote me...I said UNIVERSITIES HAVE A DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT and other agreements where the STUDENT cant take his samples and are the property of the University (in this case the mentor)

Grow up and stop jumping to conclusion...I didnt call him stupid but his attitude is UNPROFESSIONAL and idiotic! I didnt say everything is rossy read post 30 I even said there ARE SOME silly researchers and his best hope was to go to PAKISTANI PRESS...why to Indian press? Did Pakistani press dhamka him too? If the prof said what he claims then he would be in jail...Indian Passport holder being called a spy would have easily landed him in Jail like Indians jailed the honeymoon Pakistani passport holder couples not long back...
