Home Minister Rajnath Singh in a series of Twitter posts termed Pakistan a ‘terrorist state’ in an anti-Pakistan rant on Sunday after suspected militants attacked Indian army base in India-held Kashmir (IHK).

“Pakistan is a terrorist state and should be identified and isolated as such,” Rajnath tweeted.

He further said that he had spoken to the region’s political and military leadership and had instructed senior officials to monitor the situation.

He cancelled planned trips to Russia and the United States.

“We have activated the entire force in and around Uri sector to step up security and launch combing operations,” a senior Home Ministry official told media.

“It is clearly a case of the cross-border terror attack. We don’t know which group is involved,” this official added.

There has been no independent claim of responsibility.

The military death toll was the worst in Indian-ruled Kashmir since a raid in December 2014, also near Uri which is to the west of the region’s main city of Srinagar, in which eight soldiers and three police were killed.

India accuses Pakistan of supporting ‘militant’ attacks in its northernmost state of Jammu and Kashmir, which they both claim in full but rules only in part.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently raised the stakes in their decades-old feud by expressing support for separatists within Pakistan.

Pakistan denies any role in cross-border terrorism and has called on the United Nations and the international community to investigate atrocities it alleges have been committed by the security forces in Indian-ruled Kashmir.

Relations between the nuclear-armed neighbours have been on edge since a New-Year attack on an Indian air force base in Punjab, near the border with Pakistan, that killed seven uniformed men.

India has blamed a Pakistan-based group for that attack but, after initial progress, an attempt to conduct a joint investigation has lost momentum.

The two sides have frozen a tentative peace dialogue.

Kashmir has been divided between India and Pakistan since the two gained independence from British rule in 1947. Both claim the Himalayan territory in full.

Indian-administered Kashmir has been in the grip of widespread protests against Indian rule for more than two months, sparked by the killing of a popular rebel leader in a gun battle with soldiers on July 8.

At least 87 civilians have been killed and thousands injured in the deadly protests and clashes, the worst violence to hit the region since 2010.

Several rebel groups have for decades fought Indian soldiers — currently numbering around 500,000 — deployed in the territory, demanding independence for the region or its merger with Pakistan.

Tens of thousands of people, mostly civilians, have died in the fighting.

. .
And another minister calls Pakistan hell. This is the level of Indian administration

.
India herself is a terrorist state.

Sponsoring cross-border terrorism in the neighborhood for the last half century resulting in deaths of hundreds of thousands innocent civilians.

And playing the victim card at the same time.

It is not gonna work anymore, you can't fool everyone all the time.

Our media should focus on this instead of publishing Indian narrative (of course I did not mean foreign funded DAWN, Express Tribune or Geo by that).

.
lol this devil looking creepy thing needs to crawl back from where He came.

. .
What about Indian Support for Terrorism in the form of separatists in Balochistan, Karachi and FATA?

The message is very clear that Pakistan has had enough of Indian shenanigans. Just because in the Past we did not react to Indian intransigence in the form of violence did not mean that we have gone soft. If the Indians can cause violence in Pakistan, we can reply tit for tat. As long as Indians consider themselves 'holier than thau', and not look at their follies, this game of dancing chickens will continue and now Pakistan will reply in the same tone.

We don't know which group is involved but we know its nationality and that its from across the border.

YAWN......YAWN.....Same indian rubbish & propaganda since 1947. So what's new? Let these dogs bark.

. .
Very childish responses not just from the Indian administration but also from the Indian people. I guess the govt is always a reflection of the people.

Before any investigation or evidence has been collected, pakistan is being declared the perpetrator and the Indian home minister has declared Pakistan a terrorist state. Well the home ministers childish attitude is very well known.

On top of it all the people started blaming pakistan the moment they heard this attack happened forgetting casually that they have placed Kashmir under a severe crackdown for 80 days where 10000 are injured, 100 dead and 700+ blinded.

Plus they are childishly advocating violating its sovereignty in operation across the border not knowing or willfully ignoring that Pakistan is not mayamar and such an attack would result not only in failure but also the blowback of trying such a thing would be severe.

Others want them to invade Pakistan and Baluchistan and I am convinced their age is no more than 10 years old and if not then their mental capacity surely is as such acts are impossible and will make things so much worse.

Many advocate terrorism within pakistan in return which means they advocate targeting of women and children. Their sickness of mind and morality knows no limit.

All this when an investigation hasn't even started.

The thing is all this rubbish was said when pathankot happened and pakistan was blamed before an investigation was carried and these talks of invasions and strikes happened but were just talks and news and some videos with loud music of bombs.

Shooting 11 year old's in the face Rajnath might have something to do with it.

Stupid hindu has lost his marbles. The country us burning and they are playing games with Indian public.

India's is run by a terrorist, Modi has the blood of thousands of fellow Indians on this hands. Just this Friday, the main culprit, Swami Aseemanand, of Samjhauta Express blasts, which killed 68 people mostly Pakistanis, was released on bail.
