It all sounds good and I do agree with you, but to entertain Indian officials and the timing of it, I think Pakistan needs to keep Hawkeye on these Persian mullahs.

Yes, but look at both Iran and Russia, the writing is on the wall, but in my opinion the Shah of Iran was a great friend of Pakistan, and if he had stayed in power Iran could have been as strong as Turkey or even stronger with all that oil wealth. We would have had 2 powerful Muslim allied countries, we could have even have lived with an Iranian Erdoğan.

It's bad news for Afganistan,poor guys have to live under the rule of Taliban,and to some extent Pakistan as there will be some impact.
Others Pakistanis thinking taliban will move to kashmir and indians thinking talking to Taliban and Pakistan will be sidelined by Taliban is not going to happen.

We did the same what you are accusing them. We were the ones who gave our land, our Air and water to USA/NATO to obliterate the Muslims day and Night. We not just helped them with the platform to wage this all war, we supported them in every moral, physical way just short of sending our troops in Afghanistan. So just be happy that the Taliban understands that Pakistan had and have hypocrites at Leadership.

Your sheer excitement on the tweet indicates that the Taliban who have now got 85% control over Afghanistan are now gonna just listen to Mr. Jaishankar & decide that it is in their best interest to have a power sharing with the current Govt.

I was under the illusion that the Taliban not taking your calls directly was an indication that they aren't interested. But since Iran borders Afghanistan (just like Pakistan), the Taliban thought they shouldn't upset their neighbors.

As long as you keep your hopes with something like talks with Taliban are bad news for Pakistan, it wouldn't be the first time for Indian disappointment. Saw a thread on this Forum about Indian fears of Taliban too. As long as India's strategy is to create a bad media news, it's just making a laughing stick out if Indian planners for every article but shows Indian fear and desperation as well. Whether India can now try to manipulate and misguide by naming Iranian help for India.

By looking at such Indian fear, there should be one after another article by Indian media to be a fraand with Taliban Sarr.

When you are about to create a thread next time, make sure to quite a reliable source and do not mislead in OP with a rumor to provoke others or anyone.

All nations have their national interest, but seeing as the US and india are close allied and China is getting closer to Iran, and the Saudis are getting closer to india, we can safely assume that Pakistani and Iranian interests are converging

I am sorry but placing Iranian interest with Pakistan in this regard is also not a very national interest for Pakistan. Neither KSA nor Iran, are our National interest. Both have done everything to hurt Pakistan.
