True..I think the author is watching too much air crash investigation and expect smooth passenger behavior as shown in staged re-construction of plan crashes..

the report does not specifically name indians... the indian media made that connection(saying 80 percent were indian)... the main problem was carrying luggage from burning plane.. instead of saving own life.

What stupidity is this? Did these idiots expect the passengers to keep their seatbelts fastened and not panic and be seated like a bunch ofemotionless Robots inside a burning aeroplane..? man, it was an accident... and emirates needs to be congratulated to evacuate the craft in such short period... i cant think what would have happened if it was air india.. the aunties would have slapped some sense to the passengers before jumping off..

The crew had no job except to open the door and ask the passengers to exit the aircraft ASAP but they did not do that. The passengers took the initiative to exit the god forsaken craft and escaped with their lives.

emirates has pretty good safety record... so this one could have happened to any airlines...what matters is how well prepared you are for such emergency.. seems they got pretty good drill..

And yet an Indian air hostess was awarded bravery medals from three nations for protecting passengers ...... while incompetent Emirates staff blames the passengers for their incompetence.

We have already seen how emirates hostess reacts to even less grave situations, they blame the passengers.

i dont think it would have been any different if the plane was full of american's or some other nation, its easy to criticize in such situations but honestly i don't know what would i have done in such case, i think my reaction WOULD be to grab my laptop bag for sure ... machine is not that important the data is ...

On the other hand i think Emirates compensated all the passengers and there were not fatalities so all well that ends well

Emirates is actually one of the best airlines out there at the moment. Blame the people who panic and cause stampedes. Panic gets you nowhere even in testing situations.

I am with the Indians on this one... the report should not put the blame on the Indians... they are poor people from a third world country trying to save their life saving they struggled to collect and save while toiling in the extreme Gulf heat... their bags are probably full of their life savings in gold... something south Asians love putting their saving into.

Not only have these idiots crashed their aeroplane, they are now blaming the passengers for escaping with their live and valuables

It takes a special kind of moron to cheer this rubbish news.

The only 'special' people I see are the crew of the Emirates airlines who think they did a favour to the passengers by allowing them to escape the aircraft.

Emirates' PR team did a great job of covering up their own mistakes. How much information about this crash landing have we seen on the news other than preliminary reports? Disgusting arab airlines should never be given business.
