Sorry if its a repost or if my information happens to be incorrect. I just wanted to know why isnt there a smiley with an Indian flag on the forum(simillar to that of U.S ,China & Pakistan). It would be nice if we can have one. If we can't have one please elaborate why can't we have one.

i should ask mods why they have added a US flag???.

there should be only pakistan flag and china flag, maybe we can also have turkey flag because it is our best friend.

and i guess mods dont add an indian flag because it will give indians liberty to add indian flag in every post, and this forum would start looking like an indian forum

1. In my humble opinion I think the flag smileys are for the members from their respective countries by the virtue of which the prime contenders are pakistan,india,china and bangladesh as they form the majority of the population here.

2. I would like to know that how indians being given a liberty to add an indian flag ( even if its in every post,which I have serious doubts about) will disturb the pakistani flavour of this forum. I dont think a smiley can have the power to outcast the all powerful banner ( which is showing Operation Rah-E-Nijat) which has a distinctly pakistani flavours ( & rightfully so)

This has been discussed many times. There is a USA smiley flag because, even though you don't understand it, the USA is actually Pakistan's friend who wants Pakistan to be strong and prosperous. While this may seem laughable to you, it is a fact you would understand if you could analyze Pakistan's international relations without emotion.

What kind of a friend ditches another friend, not once, not twice, but many times especially in case of dire needs ???

American is no ones friend, all its friendship is based on its own objectives and necessities, once they are achieved, American kicks out that country out of its friends list.

Friend the sad truth is that in this world No one is no one's two freind. Even if we look into basic economics then it will tell us the same. If someone were to be one's true friend then he/she will have to help the other one under any circumstances which will lead to more complacency and hence more problems for the concerned party. The world is only based on needs , if one can fulfill my needs then they are my friend ( be it emotional,economical etc etc)

I wonder if Pakistan would have helped US like a true friend if there would be no economic and other benefits for her.

Though off topic the truth is that in this world nobody is no one's permanent friend or foe

Is there a Pakistani flag on your indian website/ fourms ? i don't think so... fair is fair . Furthermore, since we have so much uncalled for trolling here and even by some massive haterd and comments i think its only fair that we don't have one untill the trolling and haterd stops i think we can have one why not? we are all human in the end of the day. Chinese and most American members don't show hate and troll around as much as some indian members do. Iam all for it when the trolling and hatered comments stop . Iam all for friendship & peace as i always say but iam fair and thats just fair iam sure you would feel the same on a indian forum if there was a Pakistani flag and many trolls again iam sure the rest of the members can speak upon this as well no offence hope you can understand where iam coming from .

There will be no Indian smiley. We have reasons for that which we dont like to mention..but it has to do with more trolling and more war mongering arguments.

While our governmental tango has been quite poor, I personally have had the good experience of meeting warm and friendly people, 99% of the time (save some over-zealous airport staff).

America is a big place, it would be awfully wrong to judge 300 million people on foreign policy employed by their country. Sometimes the big picture is just not enough, and you need to get down into the nitty gritty of things to see how things really are.

While we want our country to progress and be free of American influence, it would be nice to retain the goodwill and friendship of the American people. The two don't have to be mutually exclusive as long as the people on both sides push for a change.

Thank You Sir, basically what i meant from America was its govt, not its people. I know we can't put all of them in one basket.

But generally as American is used in reference to its govt, so i used the word.
