Indian firms exporting toxic paint to neighbours (Bangladesh & Nepal)

Who said that bangladesh has become prosperous then malaysiya, indonesia or thailand??? Why these countries are coming into discussion. Discussion is not even with India and china but with West bengal and NE India with that of Bangladesh. Without knowledge please do not put your rubbish here. We all know where we are lagging and where do we need improvement. This is not only with Bangladesh but also with India and Pakistan.

Some portion of India has done some development but most portion of east india are dirt poor and one of the most poorest in the world. Majority of Indians who live below poverty line (37%) are from east India with virtually no industry in that region.
who said ? NE has tourism industry and music industry. they are happier than both BD and rest of india

That does not feed majority of the population of NE India who mostly depends on agriculture. Without industrialization you can not think of development of that region including west bengal. Only service sector can not develop west bengal. You can write it in your book.

Its better to stop the gibberish right now
as stuffs will get messy and pink with the
bizzare paints only after a while.

OMG! Not again please!
I didn't know paint was popular snack with 'rasogolla' in Bangladesh! I mean come on! It's not like India sold paint with high level of radio active uranium. loool :P And non toxic paint costs more!

And if this is about India being a Hindu country then I can understand Bangladesh, but we should have sold something better to our 'Hindu brother' Nepal. loool :P :disagree:

.
Lol... I think some green is gonna turn in to pink soon... anyway have fun n enjoy. Good night.

N zaheer instead of using abusive language come to reality. Your so called west bengal with less then 10% contribution to GDP is virtually nothing. In Bangladesh industrialization account 30.3% and it will increase exponentially when power crisis will be resolved by 2013.

There must be something Fellow members get cleared...
1. All the paints are made by Private companies, some are branded some are non branded.
2. The same paints are supplied in India.
3. In India if we pay more we get non Toxic paint, if we want to go cheaper we get Toxic paint.
4. There is no conspiracy behind supplying nepal and Bangladesh toxic paint.
5. There are some illegal companies running (with help of corrupt police) who make toxic paint and pack it in branded boxes (duplicate paints). As per my knowledge duplicate products are produce all over world, its law and order problem.

What Bangla and Nepal can do?
1. Impose strict quality process (That will increase the price of goods)
2. Stop cheap things getting smuggled...

ato porishkar bangla kotha thke sikhli? R kiser source ja giye dekh kolkata gamma + r tor dacca shunyo. R oisb biased source onyo jaegae giye de!!

For many a times I've seen some members from WB uttering in a
despicable and vulgar manner. Shame and also relieving
that those lot belongs to India right now.

loool Bhartis? haha Look whos talking? I mean if Pakistanis said this we can still understand. They might have fraction of Arab or Afghan blood in them. But Bangladeshi? looooooool makes me laugh.

1. As it is Indian products are considered to be the worst in quality available in the market. Even our women are finding local sarees better. A lot of BD items like medicines and electronics are smuggled into India because of our better quality. Any item made in BD is better in quality than an equivalent Indian product. This market is fastidious and have been used to Western products for ever.

2. Where this discovery about our batteries has been made is baffling? We never ever heard of such things. We have only two battery manufacturers - Rahim Afroze and Navana. Both have huge export markets in W Asia, Africa, Asia and even in some European countries.

3. We know well that Indian companies and authorities had ganged up to prevent entry of Rahim Afroze into India fearing their excellent quality and competitive price would throw Indian manufacturers of low grade batteries out. It is possible they have been doing some mud slinging in your media which you picked up. Sorry it's totally false.

4. However, nothing in your post justifies sending toxic paint into BD.

dude countries export things based on different grades. The better graded product are exported to country that pay that extra cash for quality. If you feel Indian products are bad quality product then sorry they are the last grade product. If your market is ready to buy quality product then India will export better grade product. MONEY matters and nothing else!!!!!!!

@integra nd sami...it is really relieving that people who think that their mother tongue is abusive or who are ashamed of their nationality are in Bangladesh

There is a difference between mother tongue and dialects,
again a rather escapist endeavor.

.
Escaping into denial mode, as always after some false allegations and failed attempts to prove them, eh??????

Well pardon my escapist denial mode,
but the simple logic or rather explanations regarding
the failure of English grammar to portray regional dialects
seems way over your brainwaves.

Now try translating in Bangla
"April in Paris rhyming with arris " nothing unusual right?

Yeah, instead I wasn't actually addressing you   And this thread doesn't have anything to do with per capita income or living standards of Bangladesh vs. India. Why you bring this up in almost every thread?

India is a large country, with a huge and a diverse population of over 1 billion. It take time for everyone to reap the rewards of economic growth. Just because the NE regions are relatively poor, don't mean we should look down upon them.

And for your information, West Bengal is doing pretty well compared to before. But yes, there are still problems and challenges, every country does.

Even though there has been considerable GDP growth in Bangladesh, some things just don't add up. There were reports that GDP per capita in Bangladesh crossed $750 in 2010 from $676 in 2009.

What's odd about those figures is that a per capita income of $750 for the 2010 year and $ 676 for the 2009 year gives an annual growth rate of 11 percent for per capita income. This is pure fantasy!

It also implies that total GDP must have grown by around 14 percent (roughly, 11 percent plus a population growth of around 3 percent). This is fairy story. The GDP growth figure given in the report itself is 5.5 percent. The nunber crunchers should look into their numbers again!

They can't even come up with a simple table in which per capita income, and other important figures for all the cities and districts in Bangladesh are listed!

zaheer.triple.es23 is a troll anyways. Why give trolls so much attention?
