Indian films losing audience in Pakistan

I only hope that when pakistani audience stops watching indian movies, then pakistani film industry fills up that gap lest the masses turn to taliban for entertainment.......;)

The gap's already on it's way to be filled properly.

Pakistan's first Gore horror film received an Award at the "Austin Fanatic Fest" as the best Horror feature.

Zibahkhana (2007) - Awards

Khuda kai liyay was also an amazing movie and received an award at the "Asian Film festival" for "Best Cinematography".

Khuda Kay Liye (2007) - Awards

Thank you. The Pakistani film Industry needs a complete overhaul and these recent movies are just the first steps towards building a strong Industry. Just like how our Music Industry took a couple of years to excel and came out as the best in the region, our Industry needs some time as well. All in due time I suppose. =)

Look, I believe Pirated Bolly Movies sell like anything in Pakistan. The theatres cant afford to take up Indian movies as they are not cost effective. The people wont come to see in the theatre if Pirated Cd is sold every possible where!

I agree lots of trash coming out of Bollywood. But then there are other Industries in Indian cinema, for eg: Tamil and Malayalam. They make good movies, but again In every Industry there are bound to be Bad movies. Its not that every director and writer tries to make a bad movie, they try their best, but sometimes their best is not Enough! If everyone knew what kind of hardship goes into making a movie then, No one would say a movie is bad or good.

Indians wont realize it as they feel pakistan movie market is not big. But they have talent and they have proved it. I havnt heard of many industry brains .like directors and technical staff...

Indians will realize when pak starts making super quality hindi movies and compete bolleywood...!

I can assure you, the Movies wouldn't be made in "Hindi". International Actor collaborations would go on but their primary focus would be to portray the topics with Pakistani Influence.

Just like our Pakistani Horror film! lol!

And of course, the Pakistani Man-eating Zombies.

This is horrible...! Already indians are scared of pakistan and media information about terrors...these movies definitely make kids like ..

Anyway put 3 ITEM songs...(fight not required as movie itself is horror) and u can get some indian crowd

The Movie is a "Cult" Gore Classic and was specifically made to target that audience. Which by the way, has a BIG following all over the world. The poster alone has received unlimited amount of praise from people from around the world. Including all my International contacts and friends.

It's available on ********. You should download it and give it a look :P

Target for that one wasn't any Indian crowd but our own. Along with International audience. Exactly why it won the award at an International Film Festival. Also received MUCH praise at the Toronto Film Festival.

It was a success. Most of the profit was made via Copyrighted DVD's. Cinema also provided profits since families from all social backgrounds went to see it.

Personally, I thought it was a typical Horror movie. Nothing TOO great. But that doesn't change the fact that the quality of the movie is going to be a milestone for the future titles. Which basically means, No bull**** dance numbers and love songs after every 15 mins. (Something which our neighbours are quite renowned for) Focus was on the Story, characters, and cinematography. In all those aspects, it was a success.
