I agree but people watch it in India, Pakistan and other countries. I do not know one can watch these. My list is very long. In one of the serial a women got married 34 times. Thanks my wife does not watch them. I like big boss only serial I watch.

It used to be the other way round.

Pakistanis watched Indian movies and Indians watched Pakistani TV dramas.

But the Pakistan drama standards have pretty much plummetted since the 80s, although there is some resurgence.

In the 80s .there was no cable ,everybody in india watched tv on terrestrial Doordarshan ,its serials were excellent.

I dont know how any indian can watched pakistani TV serials without the cable.

As far as i know its the comedy stage drama of Umer Sharif and others are very popular in india and we used to watche them on pirated CDs .

Indian serials make me want to kill myself. I'm completely serious. It is such a disappointment that after Ekta Kapoor, our standards have plummeted. There was a time when we had some good serials on TV. Now don't watch anything on TV except sports and the news. I'm forced to download good foreign serials from the internet. (Piracy~!!)

I don't know the mechanics -- pirated, or legal, CDs sounds plausible -- but many Indians are fans of old time Pakistani TV dramas like Bakra Qistoon Pey Hei, Sona Chandhi and, to a lesser extent, Andhera Ujala
