Indian defence & religion

We are not talking about your private home rituals sunny but rather on opening of national projects with Hindu rituals. Obviously you do know that most of these National projects have members of different religious groups. Isn't it imposing on their faith by simply ignoring their sentiments. Why not have a Christian opening ceremony?

Nobody would oppose or prevent it if a muslim participant starts reading Quran or a christian reads relevant verses of Bible when rituals such as Bhoomi pooja was being done and rather it would be appreciated.

In fact ,now a days it has become a fad a routine to call priests representing different religions to public inaugurations where vedic hymns are heard along with the verses of Bible, to respect all sections of our society and celebrate the true secular status of our country.

That would be very upsetting to the Buddha; he was extremely fond of pork. Matter of fact, died eating pork gone bad.

Doesn't matter dude, the guys who carried it forward made this a political statement.

Buddha was a proper atheist but people ended up worshiping statues of him, religion and the politics around it are not the same.

Infact , hinduism itself has so many sects that if we start calling everything differently we ll end up with a thousand sects,

this broad based classification helps the political goals better.

If your getting tired; take a break, have a KIT-KAT, maybe even a snooze- might help matters.

And BTW, you claimed that Sikhs are also form the Dharmic Fold!
So whats with this Tantric Rituals clap-trap applicable to their faith too?
