What's new

Indian Corolla is expensive than the Pakistani made one

Does it matter? Both India and Pakistan have sub-par, shitty auto-sector.

Actually, I take my words back. Pakistan has none.

Whole Muslim world combine probably builds 5 to 6 million cars per year. (with Turkey/Iran/Indonesia producing like 70% of those...hah!)

China alone builds 13 million or something.

What a shame....

My signature sums it up all....
oh great, religion kicks in :victory::suicide:

@WebMaster @Oscar @Aeronaut use of taboo language is a strict no-no on PDF. I have been given infractions for much less offensive language than this.

Toyota Corolla in Pakistan comes with a 1ZR-FE engine which is 1598cc while in India it comes with a 2ZR-FE which is a 1798cc engine.

Honda Civic 1.8L Basic Model - 20,154 USD in Pakistan and 23,918 USD in India but you need to read the brochure clearly as to see what comes as standard.

It is shameful indeed for Pakistan. A big country with no Local Automobile industry.

Toyota Camry in Pakistan comes with a 1ZR-FE engine which is 1598cc while in India it comes with a 2ZR-FE which is a 1798cc engine.

I'm sure you are talking about Corolla not Camry cuz Camry is 2400cc - 3500cc whereas Corolla is 1300cc - 2000cc(depends on XLi, GLi, Saloon, Altis, 2.0D, etc)

Why are the Pakistanis dancing here??? Something special?? We all know quality of the Pakistani cars and automobiles and so who cares how cheap they produce even the Pakistanis don't like to buy "made in Pakistan" cars. While Indians feel pride in buying Indian cars and automobiles, Pakistanis feel pride in importing them.

So why are we comparing these 2 nations???? :hitwall:

Pak production per annum: 169000
Indian production per annum: over 5.5 million cars.

ratio: approx 33. The is only for cars doesn't even include bikes, scooters, auto parts, cycles etc. Indian total production of automobiles is like 14 million something. More than that India is the 2nd fastest growing auto market in the world.

So please Pakistanis spare us from competition from your rag tag auto manufacturing industry. please.

Never even saw this guy in Canada, nor Malaysia nor Turkey. Only place I saw lots of these was in Dubai. In Pakistan we don't have almost any real car. We have such limited choice man. You will find the same cars on each street in Pakistan. Quite boring and I already know most of the cars-its so easy when there are so few.

I don't know, maybe because they saw you turn on the a-stereo.

It has to do with being a smaller country which means a smaller market. Furthermore some poor decision making plays a role too. By the way not all Indians buy Indian made cars as even in them there. There was a golden chance to expand by allowing foreign investments when the bombs started blowing.

So why are we comparing these 2 nations???? :hitwall:

Whoever started it shouldn't have.

Pak production per annum: 169000
Indian production per annum: over 5.5 million cars.

Any source for this? Because this refutes the numbers given by this: OICA » Production Statistics
India may have reached a production of 4 million in 2012 but news reports say growth is either going to decline or level off. Furthermore there is no comparison with Pakistan which is a much smaller nation so the number obviously will be higher. Furthermore the last few years have seen some growth in sales.

Another thing:

In terms of overall market size, India remains relatively small with about 1.8 million vehicle sales a year compared with China's 6 million. But the economy of the world's second most-populous country is growing by about 7% a year, offering tremendous upside. There are just 11 cars on the road for every 1,000 Indians, according to a Deloitte report, compared with 511 in the U.K. and 22 in China.

Comparing the last part there are 18 cars/vehicles per 1000 persons in Pakistan. It may have increased as there were some results showing Pakistan and India level at 18.

ratio: approx 33. The is only for cars doesn't even include bikes, scooters, auto parts, cycles etc. Indian total production of automobiles is like 14 million something. More than that India is the 2nd fastest growing auto market in the world.

Stop boasting, everything is temporary. No one knows kab kiskey paron sey zameen nikal jayey.

So please Pakistanis spare us from competition from your rag tag auto manufacturing industry. please.

There is a rule. Don't feed the trolls. If they post comparison threads ignoring them is best.

compare it with our area in sq. miles and ur area in sq. miles and ur population and our population...
then if u come to compare our ratio is better than yours..
well i admit our auto sector is still nothing..
we r not productng any real car..
i suppose Toyota products are just assembled here or maybe all imported.....
India auto sector is great due to government support..
while here gov is happy in having their commission by importing parts and cars....
