Since modern Pakistanis are now associating with the Indus River and Indus civilisation as a source of unity and belonging, Pakistan should consider changing its name to industan or something similar..?
Look at Bangladesh, they were once called east Pakistan but after independence they were quick to adopt the name Bangladesh.
Also I support the old name of India i.e Bharat.

Bombay to Mumbai

What about Pakistan, are names of some places not changed in Pakistan.
Van Radha Ram, a town in Kasur has been changed to Habibad recently. Were they changed to erase the Hindu past

But we are not the only onces to have been shafted. Today there is a country called Romania, a people called Roma and they have nothing to do with Ancient Rome. On the other hand the country that is the direct successor to the Roman Empire is today called 'Italy'.
