The problem starts with the mods of this forum. I have been reporting alot of garbage stuff that is irrelevant but gets alot of traffic on here and allowed. I am talking about stuff like Eurasiantimes level or even worst tier then that from Indian websites makes it's way here It's like sources coming from a guys basement and even worse. I have also noticed mods allow garbage trolls like Austin Powers to derail the forum and another Indian troll Padawan something like that.

But all in all the blame falls on the mods completely they need to be more vigilante and only allow relieble sources and also please cut the trolls otherwise the place becomes intellectually bankrupt

We can get news on India from plenty of other resources.

1. do the indian method unapologetically fighting fire with fire and do a campaign against india like they did to us. After the EU DisInfo leaks we have a very strong case.
2. keep beating the bush which is NOT happening after EU DisInfo Lab report. the indians consume overt amount of holy cow products and start a tirade lasting eternity against Pakistan based on fake news yet we have credible evidence of their state terrorism. FFS we have arrow in our quiver. beat the bush about.
3. or the new state policy is to quitely keep working and deal with things like they do in China.

To counter the Indian disinfo project which is on vast scale and funded by Indian state [no doubt secretly] requires Pakistani state to set up a dedicated cell [call it Disinfo CEell] within foreign office with experts from military intel, civilian professionals/acedemics with foreign exposure. A good example is Moeed Yousef who know how things tick in the west. This issue is mostly abroad and not internal to Pakistan which is altogether another issue. This is about Pakistan's image. When people complain and wonder why Pakistan's passport is regularly ranked at the bottom next to Iraq, Syria, Somalia and Afghanistan you now know the reason.

Wwe all know that Pakistan is no Sweden or Norway but for fcuks sakes next to Somalia or war torn Iraq or occupied Afghanistan facing 40 years of war. WTF???? Now you all know the reason. The Disinfo cell should be well funded and have officers in every Pakistani embassu abroad with brief to search for and counter any Indian propaganda networks. We saw how one was exposed in Turkey recently.

Asides from this official effort which should report to the PM's office regularly I think all Pakistani's living abroad - the million plus diaspora in the west have a duty to do their little bit in their respective home countries. Every bit helps.

The major issue here is Indian disinfo abroad which has given Pakistan a HORRIBLE IMAGE. And Indian influence on foreign policy making bodies like EU, UN etc by cultivating a negative perception of Pakistan. This is where Indian has done real damage. The recent EU Disinfo Indian Chronicles exposed this.

What goes on inside Pakistan is mostly a domestic problem informed by local politics.

Pakistan has no media house of its own of international calibre. Foreign media houses give their own twist.

I don't think banning news channels etc is any solution. This will not force India to retreat.

I personally think Propaganda can be defeated by truth, Pakistan should work on exposing all the lies India puts out in west. At the same time expose Indian fault lines globally, that will hurt India. Like the way Imran Khan did in UNSC. Rather than running away we should face it and come up with counter narrative. India is much more fragile than Pakistan, we should not be apologetic.

Agree fully with what several members have already said -

(1) Foreign diaspora based committees with the explicitly stated mission directive to gradually and quietly modify perceptions of Pakistan and Pakistanis in global media. By definition, this will include pushing back against Indian narratives.

(2) Eliminating ALL talk of "aman ki asha", "South Asian unity", or "peace between Pakistan and India". There is no longer any such concept. Indian intentions have been made clear through their clandestine activities over the last couple of decades, now laid bare for all to see. Pakistan cannot and will not cooperate with a nation that simply seeks to undermine and disintegrate and villify our own. The blame for this can very easily be laid at the feet of Delhi, as Modi's government has declared repeatedly that cultural/sporting/business links with Pakistan - even among diaspora folks abroad - will be punished. We should oblige, stop kissing Indian ***, and blame the new cold war wholly on Modi.

We have a numerical disadvantage, however, it is not that massive a disadvantage that it cannot be overcome if we are UNITED. The unity must start now. No more squabbling over who deserves to be Pakistani and who doesn't. Pakistan is an idea, and an ideal that we strive towards. Its land mass and territories form a citadel, that will protect all who are willing to be part of that ideal inshaAllah.

Introduce a Pak Positive Asset Class in which local and expatriate Pakistani's can send their money. Use it for marketing campaigns and stuff to pump out good news about Pakistan into social media. Give people who invest in it a good return (a tad bit better than the government interest rates). By way of this, increase tourism for calculating revenues and ROI.

Our media channels do not promote a positive picture of pakistan. All they ever report on are pointless political party rallies. Need a strong english language media network to showcase Pakistans narratives on things.
