Indian CAS tol visit BD and take salute during BMA passing out parade

Yeah well thats too bad, cause Indian Army is already subservient to Nepal, since Nepals Army chief took salute at the passing out parade of Indian Military Academy in 2009. So as per your logic Bangladesh Army will be subservient to Nepal. :disagree:

Red carpet for Nepal army chief - Times Of India

Height of paranoia !

there is a militry tradition to salute the higher rank officer of the opponent side even when you are in real war ...

Who really knows who were behind Pilkhana. It may also be BNP. Being defeated at the poll, its leadership used the discontent in the BDR and masterminded a rebellion.

It sent another special group to kill the BDR Chief and other military officers as a revenge against the treatment the two BNP sons received at their hands.

Well, there can be many hypothesises in a rebellion like that. I would not deny also a hand of India as a revenge for killing BSF troops in Padua.

But, what is the relationship between that rebellion and taking salutes by Indian CAS at the graduation ceremony? Do you really want to show disrespect to a visiting dignitary?

The reality is that we Bangladeshis are undisciplined. Everywhere, from our schools to universities we can see no respect for authority and a casual attitude towards ethics and discipline. In addition we are fond of rumours and speaking behind other's back. In the end it was because of this national disease, which naturally affected the BDR jawans like how it affects everyone else, and incited by some people about the "massive amounts of money being siphoned off by the officers", that they mutinied, without any known plan or anything. I don't think anyone, AL or BNP, wanted to, or even has the capability to cause BDR to mutiny. Do not forget that the public was very much pro-mutineers for the first few days, when the media were constantly repeating allegations about the corruption of the officers. It was only when the bodies began coming out that people belatedly turned anti-mutineer. As I said before, BDeshis are naturally anti-discipline and anti-Army. They are very proud of this attitude, and believe that it makes them look very "intellectual".

you sir are a joker.....passing out parade....only president of India gets that treatment that to during Republic Day!!!!!!!

my dear indian joker then why your bloody coas will get salute in our bma passing out parad ? should not it our president or coas ?

You are 100% correct about the discipline part as far Bangladeshi society goes.

Some inside sources have mentioned that it was the AL who pulled strings behind the Pilkhana tragedy. Many AL men were jailed during the caretaker government. You'll never see any discussion in the papers or the media in Bangladesh. And actually, they are capable of carrying out a mutiny. Some people are naturally good inciters. The AL thugs are experts in that.

There were also some rumors of foreign conspiracy.

There were also internal factors as well. The BDR always did the dirty work while the army officers lead lavish lifestyles. Those BDR men got frustrated.

And yes, many Bangladeshis in fact do in fact despise the military, and they have their reasons.

India has already stated that if Bangladesh need any help, it can ask. However, it is rarely a good idea to outsource national security responsibilities, I hope they haven't done so too many.

Bangladesh always maintained a moderate foreign policy.

I don't know why some BD'ians here are so eccentric about the subject of the thread.

After Pilkhana and our knowledge of Indian plans to subjugate, undermine and exploit us how can we be a dignified nation if we allow our cadets to salute the CAS of a hostile country. India is not a friend of BD.

The same country who relieved you out of your misery in 1971. You could have been easily butchered till now if you were to live in East Pakistan, like your more than 3 million birathers were annihilated.

Yes the old excuse of 1971. Read my book The India Doctrine and you will know the truth of Indian agenda in 1971.

Seriously, Who gives a sh!t to what you write in your book?

Apparently 15800 people who have followed the thread on my book on PDF and 5000 people who have read the thread on WoY. There are also the 7000 people who have read the reviews on my blog and the 5000 people who have purchased copies of the book out of print run of 5500 books.

I completely agree to what you have stated. I was just answering to a hypothesis by presenting another hypothesis, although I do not belive in either of these. There were other genuine reasons that the BDR troops acted that way. Now, my question is why MBI Munshi should bring out a silly topic like saluting a CAS of another country, and then mixing Pilkhana with that Salutation. If someone can find a relationship between these two, please post it.

I think Few Bangladeshi posters giving wrong impressions to India. They must not forget there are so many Illegal BD people in India. So many People are desperate to come to India for Job. If they care so much, Take their all people back home, Seal Border with 880MV Electricty like Jurassic Parc ;)
