Indian Brahmos missle crashes in Mian Channo

There is no mention of the projectile being shot down

Director General Inter Services Public Relations, Pakistan Armed Forces: “At 9th of March 2022, at 1843 Hours (6:43 PM), a high speed flying object was picked up inside Indian territory, by Air Defence Operations Centre of the Pakistan Air Force. From its initial course, the object suddenly manoeuvred towards Pakistani territory, and ultimately fell near Mian Channu at 1850 hours (6:50 PM), damaging some civilian property when it fell. Thankfully, no loss or injury to
human life was caused. The Pakistan Air Force continuously monitored the complete flight path of the flying object, from it’s point of origin, near Sirsa in India, to point of impact in Mian Channu. The Pakistan Air Force initiated requisite tactical actions in accordance with
the SOPs. It is necessary to mention that this rogue object endangered many international and domestic passenger flights both in Indian and Pakistani airspace.”
The DG ISPR further stated that “whatever caused this incident to happen, is for the Indians to explain.

It wasn't shot down. Flight time in Pakistan was only 3 minutes 20 seconds.
However, this is a concern. The missile travelled 260km in 6 minutes, and crossed 120km into Pakistan.
This was an error on their end, but if it was an act of war, they could hit important targets inside Pakistan.
Hope Pakistan incorporates new tactics and defenses in light of this incident.

India just got away with firing a missile deep into Pakistani territory- ------- it's been more than 24 hours and no response from Pakistani side what so ever .



I mean just look at the excuses to avoid any timely response or a response at all .


1- we been tracking it from the launch point .


2- still kept on tracking it untill it reached the area of impact .


3- it fell down on its own . ow wow!!!


4- fortunately no loss of life has been reported .

Yes our response is very bad specially in grand scheme of things happening in the world

Indian army and terrorists in india (read BJP) raised questions that can Indian army do the same to Pakistan as Russian doing in Ukrainian

I think they tested that concept of pre strike important installation with this dead stick just to evaluate our response

India: Fine tuning the S400 at that moment (intentionally/unintentionally).

Yeah but those gangus are the peak of incompetency, while they are most likely testing your AD, don't ignore the possibility of a genuine failure

Also it looks unprofessional on our part not to question it first, as it was random with no follow up, if they openly claim it was on purpose, then of course retaliation is a must

It seems highly unusual that the Indians would try something like this especially without politicising it. Given the situation with India and China, it seems highly unlikely that the Indians would try something like thisb- no impossible but unlikely nonetheless.

Is it possible that someone tried to use this to instigate trouble?

With regards to our response. I think it is appropriate given the stakes. The leadership has to act in a calculated manner. You can't afford rash decisions when you are responsible for the lives of hundreds of millions.

Times like these sometimes I support Musharraf. When Indian Commandos did a cross LOC raid we did 5 Consecutive Raids on their posts. Similarly when Indian wanted to Bomb our area he ordered the PAF to do the same but twice one at night and one during the day.

those who are talking about why air defense units have not engaged it. first, this missile remain airborne for 3 min inside Pakistan territory. in those 3 mins PAF had to identify the object and then devise action according to it. if u listen to AVM speech clearly he said the object faded. further our air defense batteries only cover military installation and facilities. Maybe they were ready to intercept it, but missile impacted the ground before interception. the path of missile, on indian side, toward firing range clearly shows it was intended to hit target but due to error it change its direction. lastly not firing an interceptor missile, on object at 48k ft with commercial filghts in the area, is a wise decision.

no pakistani drone has a turbofan jet engine lets start with that
