Ok, you are talking as if there is something inherently wrong with the power plant. The only problem is lack of fuel. Whether the power plant is Indian, Chinese, American or Bangladeshi, it cant generate power from thin air. So no point bashing your countrymen for buying the Indian power plant. If you want, bash them for not supplying enough fuel to the plant.

For a channel to be viable, a significant amount of a population should watch it. And for people to protest over it, it should be really popular. So it is evident that a lot of bangladeshis do watch indian channels. so by logic:

1) Its not just the low-quality people, but also the main part of the population that watches these channels (the likely scenario)

2) There are enough low quality people in bangladesh to make indian channels commercially viable (and i do hope this is not the case)

The core debate about the working of the power plant is now clear. The issue now has diluted to India Bangladesh friendship and token measures like banning TV channels. I would just expect all of you who think that their is no steam left in this thread to just let the thread die its natural death.

This thread should should serve all of us as a lesson to verify the sources and then cry foul. Bangladesh members please be responsible and own up when you understand that the issue we were discussing had nothing to do with India.
