I've a question..after abandoned by its own government,what becomes a soldier's status??I mean,he becomes a "Mercenary",or a "Terrorists" or what??

I'm thinking about this question for months..

Don't have to think too much about it ......... their own Commander the Great Kammandu Pervaiz Musharaffff called them "Mujahidden"; so that is what they became.
Which is why their dead bodies were not even accepted by their Army and the IA had to give 245 of them a decent burial.
Not to forget that the Nishan-e-Haider was granted later to that captain on the basis of a Citation written by an IA Colonel; even that body was accepted reluctantly at Wagah by the International Red Cross.

.
This is for yours above IDIOTIC post, Normally i don't put salt on the wound but alas...........:D:D

If you have any shame leave PDF or do you want me to shame you more with your other brother.
Not a matter, after countless defeats one single is nothing and in case your barve yogdas were 0.5million against 45000 evil malech army, read history of India and guess who ruled it most of time in past 1000 years, 68 years is less them age of my grandfather who stands at 105.

.
who ruled it most of time in past 1000 years,

It was the Turks, Afghans, Mughals who ruled mostly north India not entire India. Unless you count yourself as a Turk or a Mughal I don't know what you are feeling so proud about. And Mughals would have looked like "chinese" not the one portrayed by Dilip Kumar in Mughal-e-Azam.

The decorative 'safa' and the handlebar moustache of the Indian Army contingent that participated in Russia's Victory Day celebrations was the center of attraction among Russians in Moscow.

The 75-member team of Indian Army's Grenadiers, which on Saturday participated in the event to commemorate Russia's victory in the Great Patriotic War, won hearts in Moscow for their marching skills, height and uniform.

"Our team is attracting attention as we are tall, most of them around 6 feet, the colourful safa the soldiers wear and the unique uniform," said Colonel Digvijay Singh, chief coordinator of the Indian Army contingent.

The marching contingent was led by Captain Vikash Singh Suhag while the tricolour was carried by Captain D P Singh.

The soldiers were brought from different formations of the Grenadiers Regiment.

"It is an honour for us to get the opportunity to participate in the victory day parade in Russia as India is the only nation among the ten countries which are part of it," said Suhag, who incidentally belongs to the same village from where present Army chief Dalbir Singh Suhag hails from.

The Indian team is staying together with soldiers of China, Mongolia and Serbia in the same camp on the outskirts of Moscow. "We are also playing games like volley ball, basket ball, tennis together with other soldiers," said Captain D P Singh.

Asked if the jawans were facing any problems in interacting with soldiers of other nationalities, Singh said, "a soldier does not require language."

The Indian contingent, however, is facing problems in eating as all 75 men are vegetarians. "We are mostly from Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and are vegetarians. But the Russians are trying their best to accommodate our concerns. We appreciate that," Suhag said.

On asking further if they were having any problems living in the same camp with Chinese soldiers with whom the Indian Army had had several face offs in recent past, Subedar Naik Jugraj said that was not an issue and in fact, on various occasions, they went together for boat rides and visited the Moscow Circus.

Suhag said the Russians were also appreciative of Indian soldiers' capability to march up to 12-13 kilometres like they do in the Republic Day parade. The Russian parade spans across a distance of 800-900 metres.

Way to go! Kadam kadam badhaye jaa.....
As if the Russian Soldiers were minions ....average Russian Soldier is much taller than an Indian one ...I saw the parade and to be honest ...I found them lost in the multinational contingents ....their uniform looked like worn out and obsolete as other contingents like Chinese and Armenians appeared glistening and gelled-together !

MY intention SIR
is to clarify that we as unified Indians fought under the flag of our masters either willingly or out of compulsion. there were some Indians who did spy for or fought for the Nazis undercover and again their intentions could have been monitory or nationalistic. who knows.

point is. I dont make a moral judgement on all those Indians who made that choice.

those who chose to fight against the Nazis & their allies did the right thing because the Hitler's & Japan's imperial armies were bunch of fascists
but then again who saw that by siding with the Germans they can somehow weaken the hold of the British on India ALSO did the right thing too and I cant fault them
forget it, even if both group of people did it for money and some fame for themselves and their clans then that is also good enough for me.

you read me?
