I have to say, this is utter unprofessional behaviour by whichever authority that released this sensitive information. If covert ops are being carried in another country, rule of thumb is 'You Keep Your Mouth Shut'. Do you ever see the Israelis applauding themselves in the media for their enormous success?

The mentioned covert ops is BS, TDS was VK Singhs baby and was only involved in inside the army dealings spying on other officers and the MOD officials and creating a sort of a deep state within the army ranks, they did not have the manpower, mandate nor the reach or funds to do anything else.

Corruption, unaccounted funds, attempts to topple state government, paying NGO to file petitions against the current Army chief etc.

I am no congi supporter and favor the bjp all the way, but just for arguments sake can we also assume for a moment that the intelligence agencies also have its fair share of right wing hindutva supporters or sympathisers and there is a turf war in progress thats affecting all departments as well?

How exactly is the Indian Army requesting the Indian government to launch an government headed enquiry on V.K. Singh a secret internal report? It's funny to note how you ask what was the government doing for six months after you term it as an internal report. Secret funds that even the Indian Army can't track as to where they went? Let's not be naive and throw away all objectivity yaar. And what are the damaging implications to national security to name a former General for multiple accusations? Where were these implications when V.K. Singh letters on the state of readiness of the Indian Armed forces were conveniently leaked?


The rest about CBI, Ishrat Jahan etc. is just unmitigated rubbish. If I were a BJP leader, I would drop V.K. Singh like a hot potato. If Advani can be forsaken, so can a has-been army chief.
