An Indian Air Force MiG-21 has crashed outside the city of Bikaner, India, about 100 km from the Pakistani border, during a 'routine mission', local media have reported.

The single-seater plane's pilot is reported safe, having successfuly ejected.

Sources speaking to Sputnik confirmed that the fighter jet was based at the ob Nal Air Base in Bikaner. The reason for the crash is yet to be established, and will be investigated by the military.

Unconfirmed photos from the scene show what appear to be the plane's remains, surrounded by onlookers and fire brigades.

I think we should carefully review all "crashes" by the IAF now and especially review pics of wreckage of these crashes - because that's how the IAF are going to try and cover up the second kill by the PAF.

I say keep the escalation going on. Keep the pressure cooker on the boil. Our surgical strike cause so much panic in IAF that besides losing two jets to PAF, they brought down their own MI17 in panic.


They have lost 9 jets since the escalations started , that's like half squadron strength biting the dust!
