You're not referring to jammers right? Coz thats been used by fighter jets such as the Growler for a long time.

Hmm that would make sense I suppose ie. Use of an EMP....Unfortunately I am not privy to any information that states we have those under development.

While EMP is a bomb ( basically idea came from N-bombs), which emit electro-magnetic pulses which are to destroy every electronics. Jammers just emit the waves of particular frequency, which is enough to make enemy radar fool.

DRDO was developing EMP bomb/warhead which can carried out by cruise missiles & planes, but no news.

That would make a lot of sense to have an EMP bomb as the first strike during a nuclear war also creates an EMP wave that usually leads to "frying" of nukes and other electronic weapons within range...

no, it is a device and not necessarily a nuclear bomb which produces very strong electric and magnetic fields and when they travel through a circuit it produces flux and since it is very strong the induced voltage and currents are also very strong and the circuit of the incoming missile gets fried.
