What he said is correct my friends,the strategic depth of Pakistan isn't favorinfaany massive nuclear strike,you can't contain the massive nuclear retaliation.
But in any all nuclear war all the particapants are losers ,no gainers.

The very purpose of Pak's nuclear weapons is the threat of MAD...nobody in Pak is saying that Pak would survive in the event of a nuclear war with India. The only important thing is neither would India...and hence this threat of mutual annihilation is supposed to serve as a deterrent to keep them both from going to war(hopefully).

Anyways I'm guessing this guy wanted his 2 minutes of fame...and bcuz of a sensationalist media that loves to feed crap to their chest thumping audience...he got it.

I know Pak's politicians do that crap every time they want attention...but Pak's military personnel for the most part are composed and carry themselves as professionals. In contrast...Indian politicians and servicemen(including ex servicemen) both give such statements from time to time. I don't expect much from politicians anywhere...but military ppl should carry themselves professionally.

In case of China doing away with no first use policy it can negatively effect the defense/political atmosphere on a global scale. China is rising fast...and most countries on earth including USA have recognized that, fully expecting China to be a global power in the near future(though some consider that it's already the case).

With the currently changing alliances...and a shift in US strategy to stop a challenge from an emerging China...some friction has arisen. If China does away with no first use policy, it can have a domino effect with the US and its allies potentially following suit bcuz they(mostly US) see China as a potential adversary. This in turn can lead Russia to do away with it bcuz Russia sees USA/(UK and France...NATO) as an adversary.

...and so basically there's a risk of all nuclear powers ending no first use policy...bringing the doom's day clock closer to midnight.

Yeah,China never announce such things,agreed. But you can check the venom spitted by your global times. Also remember one thing,India govt doesn't have any control on our media,they are doing this by their own for sensationalism. Hence you can't call these need as our govt openion. but chinesC medias are directly controlled by chinesC govt.
