Title is not misleading... you understanding is... India is a backward country in terms of treatment towards woman. Thats why it has been placed way behind Bangladesh and Pakistan. N regarding the ranking India has downgraded 15 level then the previous year of 119.

1. Still India is way ahead with the pakistan or BDs.

2. The fall in ranking is due to:

a.) addition of dozens of more countries in the list.

b.) new way of calculating ranking.
