India vetoes Pakistan's proposal to bring China a step closer to SAARC

.
China is not a part of South Asia. Besides a superpower(in comparison) like China has little interest to be a part of SAARC anyway.
Secondly, India has always sought regional control in the Indian subcontinent. Like China tries in its sphere of interest and Pakistan has in hers.

IMO Pakistan has little to no reason to be in SAARC anymore. They have been looking to the West of Pakistan for a long time, they have more in common with Central Asia than the Indian subcontinent anyway. China as an observer state is fine enough.

In that case Pakistan should withdraw from SAARC. Once India has it up and running we will charge heavy transit fees to C.Asia bound trade and energy.

Its much better for Pakistan seek more cooperation inside ECO framework, join SCO, silk route project, facilitate transit for Russia and cooperate with GCC. SAARC has absolutely nothing on the table for us. When Pakistan leaves the rest of the small states would either have to accept Indian hegemony or disintegrate the organization.

.
Here is a jolly good fellow。

On a serious level,China should be invited to join the SAARC for the simple reason that two big countries in a regional setup tend to cancel out each's dominant influence or will, thereby securing the best deals for the smaller members。

Agreed you are 100% right

Yes, that should be fine with us. Disintegration of SAARC is not in the interests of other countries. Pakistan should ideally leave SAARC. It is too distant from the goals anyway. I hope you do that in the near future and build a completely separate narrative in the near future. :)

Forget about Pakistan. We should focus on inter connectivity between India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and later extend it to Myanmmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malaysia.

It would give the regional economy a great boost.

Agreed. Also we should be working closely with Iran to maximize the potentials of the Chabahar port. With the gradual improvement of Iran's relationship with the west, Pakistan could be taken out of the loop.

Pakistan has never been in the loop. The sole purpose of chahbahar port is to cut Pakistan out. In fact we must invite Iran to join SAARC.

That is a krantikari idea. It would be a major diplomatic coup.

Pakistan has no interest of making Indian dreams possible just like India has no interest of freeing IOK.

It is Tit for Tat, till Indians keep Kashmir under their terror occupation.

South Asia and Iran (Persia) have been major trading partners for 1000's of years. If any country outside of South Asia deserves a membership, then it's Iran.
