Pakistani Intelligence Agencies have revealed that Pakistani citizens are being trained in India to carry out terrorist acts in Pakistan. More than 100 agents were sent for training to India. These people are residing in different parts of Afghanistan. Hundreds of Balochi nationals have also been sent to different training camps across the border.

Concrete evidence should be presented to UN against the incident, says Talat Masood
Senior Analyst Talat Masood while talking to Dunya News said that concrete proofs should be presented in UN UN.
He said that India was pressing for terrorism to top the agenda of the composite dialogue, now Pakistan has the opportunity to present India with evidence and ask them to act accordingly. He also said that these sort of activities are carried out with the permission of higher authorities.

Afghanistan is likely being used as a launching pad for terrorist strikes into Pakistan, in both FATA and Baluchistan - that at least has been the Pakistani complaint for a long time, so this report, if true, correlates to the existing Pakistani position.

Pakistan :

but what Karan suggested is How did 100 Pakistani's Came to India, Trained in India and Then sent Back to Afganistan without anyone knowing ?

we are talking about 100 Armed Men Traveling 3 Countries yet unnoticed, in a location which is the Hottest battleground of Intelligence Today.

Talat Masood?

Not this Talat Masood-

"...The Haqqani Network and other groups have militias of 3,000 to 4,000 fighters and could draw more from the adjoining provinces of Afghanistan if Islamabad launches a military operation. Militants fleeing from South Waziristan and other parts of the tribal agencies have also sought refuge in the area. Islamabad does not want to antagonize the Afghan Taliban and other militant groups residing in North Waziristan..."

Pakistan's Military Examines Its Options In N. Waziristan-Jamestown Foundation Feb. 4, 2010

How quickly Lt. Gen. Masood forgets. Some others here too. Didn't America just kill a Haqqani 5 km west of Miram Shah yesterday?:agree:

Thanks.:usflag:

As Pakistanis are finally beginning to let go of their prized assets, expect them to create more stories to divert the attention of its population away from their succussful business of dealing in assets :)

Pakistani army may have been mediocre in protecting their country, but they have been excellent businessmen.

Let me admit, siraj and his father haqqani are indian agents, infact our most important ones. Please take then out now that you know :)

I dont see any evidence to support the claims.. I think its a simple repeat of the existing position without any new substance added to it... So still vaporware..

Also does the author think its so easy to ferry pakistanis first into India and then into Afghanistan in such large numbers without a problem

Author likely thinks they're escorted by their TTP contacts to Indian agents in Afghanistan and transported from there to India and then back again:agree:.

Reports of Indians training Baloch dissidents

Sunday, February 21, 2010
By Mazhar Tufail

ISLAMABAD: More than 100 Pakistani Baloch dissidents have been sent to India by the Indian consulate located in Kandahar (Afghanistan) for six-month training, The News learnt here on Friday.

“We have credible reports that the Indian consulate in Kandahar dispatched more than 100 Pakistani Baloch dissidents during the second week of December 2009 for six-month training in India,” an intelligence source told The News on condition of anonymity.

The source said the men sent for training in India were selected from areas bordering Pakistan as well as Baloch nationals residing in different camps in Kandahar maintained under arrangements of the Afghan and Indian intelligence operatives.

“They have been promised a monthly salary of $500-1,000 on their return to Afghanistan,” the source said. “They will be imparted training in the fields of sniper shooting, handling of technical equipment such as GPS,

wireless sets and intelligence gathering techniques,” he added.

The source said they had credible reports that upon completion of training under the Indian trainers, half of the strength of the anti-Pakistan elements would report to Commander Abdul Raziq, in charge of Sarhadi Leva (border police) in Spin Boldak close to Chaman while the remaining strength would be placed under Sarhadi Leva post commander in Shorawak district of Kandahar.

“Our informers have also revealed that the handlers of the dissident Baloch elements plan to assign different targets in Balochistan and Sindh provinces to the trained Baloch militants for sabotage and terrorist activities,” the source said.

When contacted for comments, Lt Gen (retd) Hamid Gul, former director-general of the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), said it might not be the first batch of Baloch dissidents sent to India for training.

He said that India, the arch-rival of Pakistan, was supporting the Baloch dissidents for the past many years.

“The Indians are sitting right at our back and initially they deployed nearly 20 intelligence detachments with a fulltime brigadier being in charge of these detachments,” he said, quoting his own sources in Afghanistan.

The RAW network has been operating in Pakistan since long and it is not surprising that they have hired the Baloch dissidents to destabilise Pakistan, the former general stated.

“Ever since the Taliban were ousted from power and foreign troops landed in Afghanistan in late 2001, the Indians have been using the Afghan soil for sabotage and terror acts in Pakistan,” he said.

^^ thanks for the link...Seems a little far fetched though... Also the sources are either unofficial or hidden. Seems totally out of tune with the ground situation. Even if RAW is capable to doing this activity right under the noses of UN forces in Afghanistan, the risk reward ratio is too skewed for this to be a viable operation..

Are there any records of these 100 people sent over from Afghanistan to India in terms of air travel records, passport checks etc?? Didnt Asim mention in another thread how impossible this is without the collusion of the Afghan govt and to some extent US intelligence operatives. Does the article also accuse Afghanistan and US of facilitating this activity??

Well slowly but surely cat is coming out of the hat. Won't be long now before it's fully out of the hat.
