India to propose Tripura-Chittagong rail connection

So much Bak- Bak.

India is proposing, if its not found ok.. say No.

Its not Algebra.

Chinese dams cannot hurt BD because China will take away only the excess flood water away. How can this hurt us when we need water more in winter than in summer.

That's not true.

This is a part of the grand Chanakyan plan of recapturing CHT.

Chanyakka or no Chanyakka, it is a big country vs small country, that's all. If the people here think the AL govt 's only mission is to appease India, then they will change it in the next election. After that India may come and talk Chanyakka to us.

Last time India talked like a Chanyakka on a Burma-BD-India pipeline. BNP asked for a $150 million fee per year. Chanyakkas left us in peace. The same happened also with TATA's steel mills project.

India is an exceptionally shameless country. BD did every possible thing for India. It gave transit for heavy machines for Tapiala power plant in Tripura. Now, it is giving transit through Ashuganj. BD has handed over the ULFA rebels.

In reciprocity India withheld Teesta water and shied away from passing the LBA in its Parliament. Indian govt blames BJP for this. But, we know it is all a conspiracy by all the parties in India, because it serves the Indian interest best if LBA is not signed.

Now, India is coming up with another 'Mamar Barir Abdar,' that is asking us to provide rail link with its Tripura. I thought India was spending trillions of dollars to build a port in Sittwe of Burma. Why it does not ask its eternal friend Burma to commission that port?

People should vote down the naive AL in the next election so that we do not have to sign deals without a reciprocity. However, India seems to be in a hurry to sign a deal or at least a MoU before the election.

As far as I understand, a BNP govt will just give a go ahead to this railway transit and blame AL squarely for it, but will not block or re-negotiate with India except that it will make a little hue and cry only to appease its voters. Well, this is politics.

Bro, we shouldn't trust the Indians any day of the week. They will feed us with that same bullish*t propaganda that they fed us in 1971. How many Bangladeshis are they killing with their stupid shoot on sight policy? And those Bengali secularists seem to bumlick them every day every night 24/7.

Someone needs to shut them up for good.they are like the professional beggar we see in roads.always asking something, and we are always saying - MAAF KOREN.:omghaha:

That's not true.

No, it is the truth. China will build dams at the other side of Himalaya to create large water reservoirs. The reservoirs will retain excess water during the melting of snow and heavy rainfalls. This water will be transferred to its north. So how do you think it will affect Bangladesh?

Note also that BD has always been proposing to India to build similar dams in Nepal across many tributaries of the Ganges, retain water there in the summer and use it for irrigation in winter in all three countries.

But, India does not heed to this proposal because it helps BD to develop its agriculture. India is bent on destroying BD by the ill effects of Farakka.

The other Bangladeshi was claiming that Chinese dams won't store any water. :omghaha:

BTW what happened to Chittagong-Kunming railway, Burmese has started landmining the BD-Myanmar border.

Bold part: Which propaganda you are talking about? Is it the economic exploitation of east by the west. Well, India did not make a propaganda. It was the Planning Commission of Pakistan that made the propaganda. It is below, you will love to read it:

The article you posted also talks about railway with Myanmar. Before talking about terrain, this is the 11.2 km long Railway Tunnel we had opened in Kashmir few months back, Asia's third longest.
