India to launch its first astronauts into space by 2015

how long will India understand manned space flight cannot be bought from NASA?

But it can always be bought from Russians just like China did .

Yes, but they will stay inside a Russian made capsule. Perhaps they will get NASA to monitor them in space because they do not have deep space telecom as shown in Mars mission.
I wasn't able to find any good pics taken by indians on that mission but a blurry image of Mars

Funny coming from the chinese who sought help from Russia in making your space capsule as well as space suite .

Your moon mission was helped entirely by European Space Agency in deep space monitoring .

As for not getting images from Mangalyaan , may be those are censored by CPC .

I don't think so,otherwise how can a stable democratic country of nearly 70 years old still be a third world hellhole more poverty, more malnutrition, more social problem then Sub Saharan Africa?

Why is a Bangladeshi talking about this? Why dont you advocate your government to reduce your military budget to nothing, give all of it to reduce poverty. Hell why do you even have a space program and a budget for it?

SPRRSO is a joke.It has no funding, minimal activity,no satellite. Its only work is predicting the weather and flood by using satellite picture.
Bangladesh's military budget is already very low.Our military budget as a percentage of GDP is among the lowest in the world.

Once again why does a third world hellhole with poverty , malnutrition as well as social problems care where we spent our money .

Also since our country has all the problems , ask your brethren to stop poll vaulting into India .

Still you guys have no shame by pole vaulting with your lungis.

Maybe it is better to live in a third world hell hole than to live in sh*t hole.:P

No sane Bangladeshi would want to live in Jaat-Pat infested hellhole India. Some Bangladeshi villagers in the border area goes there to do business, not to live permanently.

But at the same time you're doing that at the same time as reducing poverty, creating infrastructure, right? Any different from India? So dont come here with that holier than thou attitude. Go call you representatives and tell them to dump your useless activities.

And yes, every 3 or so year ISRO does these "prestige" projects. (Chandrayaan1, Mars orbiter, Chandrayaan 2, human space) But at the same time there are like 5+ other satellites in that time frame for weather monitoring, communication, military applications, navigation, etc, etc, etc. These prestige projects are also there to validate the launch platform as well.

And $1 billion dollar budget may seem a lot to Bangladesh, but it's nothing to India. Especially the bang for the buck ISRO provides. ISRO is making money of these ventures as well and cultivating home grown technology and brain power with in India.

I am not against using space technology to monitor weather, communication, navigation etc.My objection for India is to sending man on Moon or Mars. This is very costly project and useful for nothing but to bravado. That money could be better used for the man, woman and children living inside the world not in space.

Again, already explained. Every 3 years or so it does these "prestige" projects. This is already within their budget. 1 billion may seem a lot to you, it's not for India.

Welfare of the poor, etc. is going on already. And it's swallowing ISRO's budget many times over.

Maybe by 2020 or 2030 or 2050. But which ever date it is, wait for your gov to announce first. Otherwise, you are dissing your own country like your countryman that predict 2016 or 2017.

Then what did you think I was doing idiot?

Were you born in a cesspool I wonder?

NASA monitors the other side of the globe where ISRO doesn't have much presence...but obviously you couldn't figure it out because Chinese still believe the earth is flat. No surprise there.

ISRO released high-res pics, circulated among the more technical forums on the internet...maybe the chinese govt had censored what you see to preserve your false pride...maybe you just have a blurry monitor made by some third-grade chinese company...or maybe you've never been there so you have no clue what Mars looks like therefore can't tell the difference between high-res and blur.

No wonder it's all blurry for you.
