What are the likely targets? Any guesses? IMO only suitable targets in this terrain are likely to be critical infrastructure assets which contribute to enemy's war effort. Destruction of such targets will not influence the battle in the short term, moreover, for targets deeper than 80 - 100 kms into enemy territory, we need satellite coverage to ascertain damage caused to targets. UAVs will also do. What we need more than the Brahmos in this area are light air transportable artillery and lots of them along with lots of helicopters, both transport and weaponised variety. We need lots of UAVs also to maintain surveillance over the rugged terrain.

- Tibetan railways, major bridges, tunnels all of that are involve in PLA's supplies and reinforcement.

- Commend & control, Radars, SAM, Air defense etc.

You need to get ur facts corrected next India-china war will be fought only till the border (North East, Kashmir and Tibet).

Every weapon/asset have its own use and purpose Brahmos serves its purpose well by destroying chinese supply lines/reinforcements, radars, SAMs etc.

We will not attack china's mainland and they will do the same. And to be fully protect us and to target anywhere in china we are preparing Agni-5, SLBM and extended range Shaurya missile.
