(Note the unambiguity of India's response this time to the OIC, especially the underlined part. In diplomatic-speak, that is the equivalent of a giant middle finger.)

I wish I could have watched the face of the OIC Secretary General as he read this.

New Delhi: India on Friday rejected an OIC resolution commenting on Jammu and Kashmir as "completely unacceptable" and asked the association of 56 Islamic states to "refrain from interfering in the internal affairs of India".

In a strongly worded statement, the ministry of external affairs said: "We have seen the OIC Resolution commenting on the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is completely unacceptable. We dismiss it with the contempt it deserves. We advise the OIC to refrain from interfering in the internal affairs of India."

On Thursday, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani made a special reference on Jammu and Kashmir in his opening statement at the 42nd session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Kuwait, stressing the need for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute and said that final disposition of the issue should be evolved through a sustainable dialogue in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Later, the meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir was chaired by Special Envoy of the OIC Secretary General on Jammu and Kashmir, Ambassador Abdur Rehman Abdullah Alim.

The meeting was attended among others by Sartaj Aziz, adviser to the prime minister of Pakistan on national security and foreign affairs; Elmar Mamadyarov, foreign minister of Azerbaijan; Ambassador Muhammad Ahmed Tayyab of Saudi Arabia, the ambassador of Turkey; and ambassador Dr.Oumarou Amadou Sonrhai of Niger. Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, president of Pakistani Jammu and Kashmir and Kashmiri leader Ghulam Muhammad Safi also attended the meeting, according to Kashmir Media Service.

Israel visit affect.

Modi will call Palestine's illegal occupation in Gaza strip. So this is a reaction of OIC
but Modi is not changing Indian position in palestine..its same all along... we support statehood there.

That we will know after the visit. Finally he is not going to tell Israel that back off from gaza strip. Isn't it?

OIC have been passing these useless resolutions since the past 50 years. India never visited Israel all those years?

You are correct, but Pakistan needs to show their support to Palestine too, during Modi's visit to Tel Aviv. This is so called diplomacy.

diplomacy? so is it a give and take solution. It means you won't care a damn about the Palestine issue, if the Arabs don't support your cause in Kashmir.

did we give a damn about Saudi Arab war? NO

nice, Kashmir is to get the international priority it deserves.
LOL, you think this is the first time? Take a look at the bottom of this page, in the "related threads".

OIC issues this inconsequential statement every year when they gather for completely futile "summits" that lead to nothing. The only difference this time is in the nature of India's response.

It's a yearly ritual for them, gang up together and offer some "statements of solidarity" to their so called brethren, before going back to selling oil to the very countries they "condemned". The only positive outcome from this hilarious ritual is that it keeps Pakistanis and a few other people happy, thinking that they are important enough to be noticed by the great Arab and other rich islamic countries. The truth is that their resolutions are not worth the paper that they print them on - they know that, we know that, everybody know that. Well, except some.

Here is a blast from the past:

Find out if there has been a single year when the OIC has not passes the same resolution, to keep a few Pakistanis happy. Also find out how much good it has done for Pakistan. But if this is the sort of thing that gladdens your heart, you can be a very happy man - you will hear such "resolutions" all the time, at least twice a year.

. .
India should be a part of OIC.

True that, even Zia ul Haq didn't gave a damn during Black September so I heard. It's money that does the talking not mere emotions.
And you did ? By embracing Israel ?

Atleast we as a country support Palestine... Give them thousands of scholarships, donations n train their security forces and support them politically ...
